I highly recommend Shalom Safaris' 3-day Rwanda gorilla and golden monkeys trek. It was so much more than just a trek. Seeing the gorillas was as amazing as everyone says, but visits to the Genocide Memorial, the Dian Fossey Center and especially the Cultural Village were what set it apart from what other companies offer. It was the complete experience. The personal attention and flawless delivery of services was extraordinary. Being met at the airport was such a plus and I was impressed that Lisa, the managing director, came to greet and thank me at the beginning of the trip. From there, every logistic was handled smoothly, leaving no room for concern. My highest compliments, however, are reserved for my driver, guide, and now, friend, Maurice. He loves to get to know people and our long conversations reflected that. He is a powerful source of knowledge ranging from history to daily life to his own personal connections to the genocide. I could not have even hoped for a better driver or overall experience. Thank you, Maurice and Shalom Safaris for your excellence.

Driving by around Kigali city, and visiting kimironko foor market, visiting Kigali heights and driving out of Kigali city .

My wife and I had such a great time with Shalom Safari. They were very professional and punctual. They picked us up with their vehicle from our hotel and drove us to the National park. We arrived at our resort in the late afternoon, and got the opportunity to squeeze in a few animal sightings. I would highly recommend them to people who want the liberty to enjoy the parks without feeling rushed. Because of their knowledgeable staff you WILL see what you came to see. Best time of our lives!!!!

I spent 3 days with Shalom Safaris touring the Akagera National Park. My Shalom representatives were Olivier and Alain and they were incredibly helpful and had planned the tour very well. They came to pick us up in Kigali at my hotel and had booked the accommodation in the Akagera National Park for both nights, in addition to organising all of the activities - these included full game drives, evening drives and boat safaris. Highly recommended. A truly unforgettable experience - thank you Shalom Safaris for a brilliant trip!
