I participated as a solo traveler in "Morocco up close", organized by the Hotelplanfiliale Murten from November 3-15, 2025. Alone I didn't feel in a single moment and "up close" was the experience on every single day! Lahcen, the main guide and his two colleagues and drivers Moha and Aziz gave us a very authentic picture of their country. That they love it and that they enjoy their activity was felt very clearly. Lahcen’s organizational talent, knowledge, passion and respect for his compatriots and us visitors was overwhelming. We have been given a great deal of insight into Moroccan life; we have been explained a great many backgrounds and connections - more than I ever expected. That we were also lucky with the weather (except for the second last day - although even that was instructive and interesting) and that our group came together in a very harmonious and funny way was still the icing on the cake 😄 An unforgettable journey!
