3 Day Reef, Rainforest and Outback Package

This is our second time using Billy Tea Safaris and again we loved them! They made the whole process seamless for our trip. We did the Great Barrier Reef tour with their partner Down Under Dive & Exploration and then the Outback & Daintree with them directly. They also got us set up to explore Kuranda (going up on the sky rail and taking the scenic train back home). The guides are great, small tour group sizes and great activities. Highly recommend this tour group while in Cairns. If you are choosing to stay in an VRBO / Air B&B type place, this is the only hiccup as they can't pick you up from your residence but will have you meet at another central location - this added some costs to our trip (needing to UBER to get to this spot), but this was of our own choosing - just something to be aware of in booking. But its totally worth it!

This is a 3 day adventure. The Reef Cruise to the Great Barrier Reefs was super great! The crew of Evolution were extremely friendly & helpful. We snorkeled 2 reefs-great views-crew made us feel safe & comfortable in water! Steak, shrimp & fish lunch was great! Second leg of tour was the Outback-our driver/tour narrator was very knowledgeable & entertaining. Chillagoe Caves explored were phenomenal! Saw lots of Roo’s, views of rain forests, highlands before hitting Outback Outer region were scenic. Its a long day, close to 12 hours & 360 miles, but we did a good # of enjoyable stops-a great overall adventure! The Rainforest leg was cancelled due to torrential rains & flooding. Billy Tea Safaris promptly refunded charge for this tour leg! Billy Tea Safaris great to work with, they answer calls or promptly return calls on booking details!

The Daintree Rainforest tour was operator cancelled. To date Viator/tour operator has not provided a refund or notified us of status of a refund! The is a really big concern-seems it should be simple. Super hard to contact anyone to resolve-don’t answer phone.

This was a great way to get a taste of Australia. All of the tours were led by awesome tour guides, and we stopped at incredible places. Other than the actual tours we stopped at places on the way which added to the experience.

This set of tours was fantastic! Loved both drivers for the driving days, and the crew for the reef day were fun but professional. Was a great way to see all of the highlights around Cairns in a simple and efficient way. All of the pickups were on time and the transport was top notch. Would recommend this to anyone.

The 3-day tour was amazing and covered very difference sceneries. I loved the reef day, as the snorkelling and the reef just made me feel so alive! All crew on board were lovely and super helpful, and they took safety very seriously. The rainforest day was also amazing, and Daniel was a great guide. While still a good experience, I liked the outback day least, as the time spent in the vehicle was very long. I'd recommend Billy Tea to anyone who wants guided and thoughtful tours from Cairns.

Our tour started with the outback portion, the reef and the rainforest last. All tours met their stated purposes. There is a lot of necessary driving on the non reef tour days. There were enough stops to breakup the travel and make it more enjoyable. The supplied food was good. They were at nice facilities that gave our group personalized attention. The tour is done with a 4x4 bus.

Outback tour guide was extremely knowledgeable with the surrounding. An experience of a life time. Snorkelling was well organized. Explanations were clear. Staff was entertaining with their cheeky comments. Gauvin was a delight. A lot of passion for the Rainforest and its culture/history. This brought an extreme respect for the plants, native culture, the animals, etc. I would recommend this excursion great way to see what Australia offers. Very self-sufficient country. Thank you for the experience

Billy Tea Safaris and Down Under Cruise & Dive were absolutely amazing!! My husband and I did the 3 day reef, rainforest, and outback tour, and really feel that it helped us make the most of our time in Cairns. Skipper Mike and Deck Supervisor Kiki aboard the Evolution were great hosts, and Skipper Mike even invited us into the bridge and gave us his tips about local places to stop on our way down the coast. Our guide for the outback and rainforest days was Gav. We cannot say enough amazing things about him. Incredibly knowledgeable about all things Australia, and such a great conversationalist. Beyond the nonstop learning, he also went above and beyond SEVERAL times on our tours by showing us hidden gem spots or asking if we wanted to do a little extra excursion. My husband and I wish we could just hire him to take us down the rest of the Australian coast for the rest of our honeymoon. Thanks a million to this team!
