3-Day Group Safari in Masai Mara with Pick Up

Do not use this company, we were scammed! Also, check out the website Safari Bookings and read the reviews. My husband and I, along with 3 friends, booked the 14 day, 9 parks Ultimate Kenya Tanzania Safari on Dec 1, 2024 to start Sept 25, 2025. Our contact was MARY. On day 5 of our tour, our driver, Sisto, told us that he had not been paid and that none of our accommodations going forward had been paid. We had to either pay again for our accommodations and all of our park fees or else we were done our tour. Our driver took us into Nairobi on day 6 to confront HUMPHREY, the owner, and for almost 3 hours he gave us every excuse in the book. He admitted that he had no money and in fact had used up all of his overdraft. He told us all his plans to get money but was not believable. He admitted that the only way he could pay for us going forward was with the money from new bookings... After confirming that we had at least a reservation in each of our planned accommodations going forward, we decided to continue our tour as the only thing worse than being scammed was to ALSO go home without the experience. We thankfully finished our much anticipated trip. For the five of us, we were scammed out of $25,000 cdn. Based on our experience do not book with Africa Kenya Safaris or any other company headed by Humphrey.

Honest from Africa Kenya Safaris was able to accommodate exactly what we wanted to see in Masai Mara within our budget and we were so thrilled with the value for money we got.

This group safari was great for me. Booking was very easy, all the information was clearly explained in advance. On the first day of going to Masai Mara, I saw many animals up close - lions, giraffes, zebras. The vehicle was comfortable, everyone in the group got along very quickly. The accommodation was good, the food was also good. Overall, the trip was very enjoyable.

The 3-day Masai Mara group safari was truly amazing! Booking was very easy, they explained everything beautifully - how to go, where to stay, what to see - everything was clear in advance. The car was comfortable, there was drinking water and snacks all along the way. From day one, we see many animals - lions, zebras, elephants, even crocodiles! The natural beauty of Masai Mara was so enchanting that it was difficult to turn away the eyes. The color of the sun was absolutely magical.

On we visited the Masai Mara for three days. Everything was very well organized from the beginning. Our driver guide was great - very knowledgeable about the animals' behavior and locations. On the first day, I saw elephants, lions and giraffes. Accommodation was comfortable, food was good, and the environment was perfect. The safari at sunrise on the last day was the most memorable moment. All in all, an amazing experience.

We participated in a 3-day group safari with Africa Kenya Safaris; from the beginning, the pickup, the ride, and the entire arrangement were perfect. Our guide was experienced and helped to identify each animal. Departing each morning, we encountered numerous wild animals in the vast expanses of savanna. The sight of lions hunting, huge elephant herds, and wildebeest migrations with infinite horizons was truly heartwarming. Our guide not only showed the animals, but he also told the stories of each place. This group safari is perfect for those who want to explore Masai Mara on a budget.

This was the trip we had been dreaming of for a long time and Africa Kenya Safaris made it happen. As baby boomers aged 60 and 70 years, we were looking for a stress-free trip. With Charles as our safari guide, we felt were in good hands. He took care of all your needs, wants and desires. Couldn’t recommend more!

We were truly amazed by this three-day safari. The Masai Mara is like a giant stage, with lions, zebras, wildebeests, and elephants playing their own roles. On the first day, we saw a large number of wildebeests crossing the Mara River - with ferocious crocodiles waiting nearby! We even saw a pair of rhinos. The guides were professional and friendly, and the vehicles were comfortable 4x4 jeeps.

The best part of this group safari was sharing the experience together. We were a group of 6, all from different countries, but standing in front of the animals, we were all one - surprised, fascinated, speechless. Our guide was very friendly and explained the names, behaviors, and customs of each animal. Thousands of wildebeest were crossing the Mara River, and there were crocodiles behind - we all watched with bated breath. The car was very comfortable and had a great view from every window. It's been like 3 days!

What everyone says about the Masai Mara - in reality, it is much more than that. On this three-day group safari we got closer to nature. Watching the wildebeest crossing the Mara River was a great experience - crocodiles lurked, and the whole group flinched in fear. We all saw “Big Five” (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, buffalo) in two days!
