Begin your tour with pickup from your hotel and a short drive to Nairobi National Park. See rhinos, buffalo, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, lions, and plenty of antelopes and gazelles roaming in the open plains. Look out for over 300 bird species including the Secretary bird, crowned cranes, vultures, and peckers.
Next, head to the Giraffe Center, a nature sanctuary for visiting and including wildlife conservation education for urban school children. Learn about the breeding program for Rothschild Giraffes and feed them from a raised observation platform. The Giraffe Center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffes.
Afterward, visit the Karen Blixen Museum. Learn about the life of Karen Blixen, a Danish author who lived in Kenya. Explore the serene museum set in the superb of Nairobi, which provides the most comprehensive insight into the person of Karen Blixen. Walk along the nature trail against a backdrop of the Ngong Hills.
