My friends and I had so much fun! We began our holiday journey at the Donut Distillery and enjoyed their amazing donuts before boarding our trolley. Our trolley ride involved festive singing and being able to “ooo” and “awwww” at many of the houses in East Nashville. We enjoyed the Home Alone pop up bar and ended our journey at the beautiful tree downtown where we were able to take beautiful photos. I hope this can become a holiday tradition!
Music City Brew Hop Holiday Lights tour was absolutely so much holiday fun. Starting point was the Donut Distillery where Music City Brew hop checks you in. Go Early to enjoy their Holiday Decor and enjoy one of their many unique donut shots . So Delicious. We boarded our trolley and meet our Fantastic Driver Michael they do such a great job decking the decor on the inside of the trolley so cute and festive . Once we were all boarded off we went touring the beautiful decorated houses of east Nashville while jamming to Christmas songs the lights tour is roughly 35 -40 minutes . From the neighborhood we headed to our first stop East Nashville Beer Works for their Home Alone Theme Pop Up Experience everyone had to chance to enjoy their libations and order a lil bite to eat . Michael let us know when it was departure time and he was experienced on rounding folks up we all laughed at his wrestling skills. Once boarded we headed to the next stop which is Downtown Nashville at the Capitol Christmas Tree and it did not disappoint. We had opportunity for pictures and a random Christmas Carol session. Then sadly you are getting close to the end of the 2 hour tour. With quick ride back across the river to Donut Distillery we all departed with Joyful Hearts and a Night to Remember . This is our second year with Music City Brew Hop Holiday lights tour. The first year we booked a public tour but this year we decided to do a private buy out and it was totally worth it. Highly Recommend Booking this Tour it is so Very Merry Fun
The Music City Brew Hops Holiday Lights Trolley Tour will be an annual Christmas tradition for our family and friends for as long as its around. Their team was so easy to work and communicate with to get our party of 16 organized and ready to enjoy the evening. Our driver Michael immediately got us all in the Christmas spirit with great music, humor and a laid back demeanor. The food, beverages and people at East Nashville Beer Works and Donut Distillery were top notch as always. In between, the holiday lights, downtown Christmas tree and time spent together for 2 hours on a decked out trolley created some holiday memories that we'll cherish forever.
Lights not guaranteed. Drove through housing areas. Most houses not lit up. Fun with a group but really confusing why start at the donut district and at the end of the tour, the bar be closed!!!!
Hi Lisa and thanks for leaving a review! Prior to your tour we let your group know that part of this adventure is "hunting Christmas lights" and we can't guarantee house displays. While we drive through the historic Lockeland Springs neighborhood, occasionally and especially earlier in the season, some houses have not put their lights out yet. In lieu of this we created amazing stops for the tour including the 'Home Alone' pop-up stop at East Nashville Beer Works and a stop at the downtown Christmas Tree for photo ops. While we do depart from the Donut Distillery for our late tours (8pm or later) unfortunately they have to keep business hours. This is why we also have a relationship with Velvet Taco (next door) which allows groups to come in and use the restroom, purchase food and drinks, etc. Velvet Taco is open until 2am and has an inviting atmosphere for our guests. The seats on the trolly were very small not much leg room. Very little Christmas lights to see. We did not get to go to the downtown Christmas tree instead went to a small Christmas Tree.

Our Holiday Lights Tour route focuses on neighborhood displays with music and festive fun aboard our trolley rather than a large-scale light show. We appreciate your thoughts on seating and stops. Regarding the Christmas tree, we do visit the downtown tree at Union & 3rd this year. This was a horrible experience. There were fourteen of us and we caught an uber from first stop. This should have been cancelled due to no Christmas lights but wasn’t and we were so upset. I guess maybe people stop turning lights on because they don’t want these buses making money riding up and down streets looking at the lights. The capital Christmas tree was already off for season also which we weren’t informed til ride. I feel so badly my friend spent money on this because of me. I’m not kidding if I could rate this negative I would.

We have placed the proof below from one of 5 emails we have received. "The man who entered the bus aggressively purchased ten of the tickets which you can do math on that. I have thirteen more reviews that we were holding off on." The tour was enjoyable and my son and I enjoyed riding around Nashville and checking out the holiday lights. The tour guide was friendly and informative and we had a lot of fun. BYOB was also a nice added feature.
Very unethical company. We are out of town and the owner of our VRBO died literally the day we were to check in. His family (not knowing he had rented to us on VRBO) was at the house we were to stay at. We were dealing with this issue and had to miss our trolley tour. When we requested a refund, they refused. Beware of this company and their lack of compassion.
Hi Trixy and thanks for leaving a review! It allows us to explain what happened from our account. First off, it's terrible that someone died and we have the utmost compassion for that. We are a small family business in Nashville and LOVE our neighbors here in Music City. If you pray, please do for their family. Second, your story about this VRBO (AIRBNB) has changed several times from "squatters to, now, the deceased." No matter the excuse, we would have refunded your tickets and tour IF you would have given us any kind of heads up that you weren't going to make it. The morning of your tour you received a follow-up email and automated text message confirming your tour. You could have responded to either form of communication or called us at any point prior to the tour departure that night. Unfortunately, your request came 1-2 days after the tour operated. We hope you understand we could have sold those seats to anyone on our waiting list (which we had for nearly every tour this season). Again, you can see in previous reviews that we are extremely lenient in regards to refunds and will work with guests all the time. We are understanding and compassionate towards all situations...but, occasionally, they need to add up. Cheers!
Since it was after Xmas we weren’t able to see as many lights, but still it was enjoyable to relax on the trolley and drive around the neighborhoods in Nashville. Loved the quaint brewery stop.
Super fun and Randy was great. Definitely get a cocktail at the Donut Didtillaty before you go and take it on the trolley!! The shakes are to die for. Lots of singing and getting to know folks. It was a great time
