2 Tank Dive (for certified divers)

Host Charlie and Dive Master Anthony were especially hospitable! From setting up our gear to carrying it to and from the boat. The captain took us out to a nearby dive spots and during the dive Anthony pointed out eels, and a variety of wildlife! The sea was calm and the water was warm! Anthony was super patient with us and a great Dive Master! Between dives we returned to the dive shop and snacked on fresh pineapple and sweet rolls. We will surely return when we visit this cruise port.

Very disappointed with how this dive shop handled a serious safety concern. There was significant lightning in the area, and we did not feel safe getting on a boat and diving in open water because of it. We found out from a fellow cruiser that a neighboring dive shop actually canceled their dive that same day due to the weather, yet this shop refused to refund us. We didn’t simply change our minds, we made a decision based on safety. The dive shop told us to reach out to Viator, Viator told us it was up to the dive shop. Nobody wanted to take ownership and do the right thing. I would expect a dive operator to prioritize safety over keeping a customer’s payment.

Excellent dive shop and great staff. Easy cab ride from cruise terminal. Dive Master and Bost Captain are great! Would highly recommend and will use Doctor Dive in the future

We booked with Doctor Dive at the last minute. They were extremely accommodating and made the entire experience easy. Cesar was our guide and took care of all the details for our family. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Perfect for cruise guests wanting to dive in Costa Maya. Such a great crew and very accommodating and professional! Loved the snacks and drinks. If you want Nitrox, you will need to reach out early and reserve it, but it’s good to know you can get it if you want it! Definitely recommend this tour!

The crew at Doctor Dive were friendly, professional, and fun to dive with. They took us out to a couple of great spots on the reef and pointed out a lot of wildlife. The dives were relaxed and close to shore, where they were conscious of the time to ensure plenty of time to get back to our cruise boat. The dive shop is quick five minute ride from the port, and there are a lot of cool little vendors at the site to check out. A restaurant is also conveniently located right next door that has some great food for lunch before heading back!

Had an absolutely incredible scuba diving experience with private guide Cesar and Lucas. From start to finish, everything felt relaxed, safe, and perfectly tailored to what I love most about diving—underwater photography.

My wife and I are very experienced SCUBA divers. The conditions today were terrible, the visibility on our first dive was VERY bad, but our second dive was freaking amazing. The staff at Dr. Dive went overboard to make sure we had the best possible experience possible. I can’t even begin to thank you guys enough!!!!!!!

Went out with Lucas the divemaster. There were only myself and wife. Some places might have cancelled it for not having more people - they didn't. Little sporty getting out but once we got out a little piece did calm a little. Lucas explained the dive and dive profile nicely. Spotted a frogfish that we would have missed. Good dive. SI was spent on shore and they brought pineapple, homemade muffins, and water. Second dive was at a different site and was just as good. Not dove nearly as much as Cozumel or Roatan. After the dive Lucas washed and put our gear out to dry. They set up the gear for you too and take it from the shop to the boat. We have dove many places with many divemasters and he ranks at the very top. When we come back will go here again.
