We had such an amazing time! Tyler was a great guide. We had the whole lake to ourselves! So much fun floating and relaxing and seeing The Great Salt Lake from an awesome pontoon boat. Highly recommend, don't hesitate...just book it!
If you are considering this 2-hour boat tour, definitely book it! My husband and I loved the unique experience of swimming in the Great Salt Lake. It is very fun and completely stress-free—you don't even need to know how to swim since the lake's high salinity makes you float automatically. Our guide, Tyler, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the lake and area, and he was more than happy to take photos for us while we were swimming. Highly recommend!
A+ !!! Totally worth the money and time. Great experience with Nate....super knowledgeable, friendly and kind. I would definitely go on this trip again :)))
We had such a great time on this tour! Our guide knew so much about the Great Salt Lake and had tons of fun facts, and he was able to answer pretty much every random question we came up with. He also thought of everything—bee masks for the gnats, water to drink and rinse off with after swimming, snacks, a speaker, and he even took pictures for us. Such a fun and memorable way to experience the lake!
Tyler was an amazing captain and tour guide. He had a lot of knowledge of the area and history of the lake. I was ecstatic to float in the lake with brine shrimp. I always loved those as a kid! We also saw pyrite glitter on the sand, as well as doing a body mud mask. ️ It was like a spa treament and relaxation float in one. *Be aware there is $10 fee to get into the parking lot due to the marina being in a state park.* There are outdoor showers to rinse off afterward, but it is cold water - which is to be expected.
Such a fun experience. I have only seen the Great Salt Lake from an airplane window. Experiencing it on the water was so much better. It was beautiful and peaceful. The birds and the mountains in the background were amazing. Plus, swimming in the water was unique. I would recommend this trip to anybody
Being out in the middle of the Great Salt Lake -- and having it entirely to ourselves -- was, literally, awesome. And our guide Tyler was a fount of knowledge -- from bird identification, to brine shrimp life cycles, to the cultural and ecological history of the lake and its surrounding, to how you keep a boat running in extremely salty water -- as well as a convivial host.
A fun group trip! The float was a great experience; bugs were a bit of a nuisance for some. For those who like to drink, bring some adult beverages. (Wish we would have known ahead). Nate was awesome!
Tyler was the perfect guide. Very knowledgeable and great listener. He was prepared with water for drinking and a watering can for rinsing salty water out of faces/eyes. He introduced us to the way the salty water repels our bodies, either by floating or shooting up, waist high, after completing a 'pencil jump.' It was great experience!
We had an amazing time with Tyler our guide. He made a wonderful experience that much better!
