All of the crew members were fantastic. Our server Lacey was phenomenal and the pianist was outstanding. My wife is handicapped and has to use a wheelchair and the crew went above and beyond to help her on board and getting off the ship.

Difficulties parking but otherwise a beautiful experience.
Enjoyable trip with a friendly crew and good food for lunch

Lunch was great - my wife had a very noice gluten free meal and mine was good too. Waiter was attentive but not over the topo
Thank you for the review, Robert! We’re so glad you both enjoyed your lunch, and especially happy to hear your wife had a nice gluten-free meal. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with your server as well. We hope to welcome you back on the river soon!
This river lunch tour was a beautiful relaxing tour of the city and bridges from the perspective on the river. The sights were spectacular. The food was amazing. The printed tour guide was interesting. Some of us parked in nearby parking ramp. Others took the Maxline and were dropped off just a few blocks from the dock. The booking and communication from Viator made the whole experience seamless. Can’t wait to do it again with other family and friends!
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views of Portland and its bridges from the river, along with the food and printed tour guide. It's wonderful to know your experience from booking through your visit was seamless. We look forward to welcoming you, your family, and friends back for another cruise in the future!
Great value for the money! Food was excellent! Service was friendly and prompt! Boat was clean and safe!
Thank you so much for the wonderful review! We're so glad you found the cruise to be a great value and enjoyed the excellent food, friendly service, and a clean, comfortable vessel. We hope to welcome you back for another fun adventure in the future!
Our midweek lunch cruise on a sunny September afternoon was really nice! We boarded 30 minutes before launch, found our reserved table, then headed to an outdoor upper deck to show our guest the downtown Portland skyline. Back inside, our waitstaff was attentive and thoughtful; service moved quickly but was not rushed. The steelhead and the Tillamook burger tasted wonderful. We'd forgotten to bring our own earpods/headphones, but who wants to do that when you're dining with friends? Next time we'll skip the table, order food and drink to take to the upper deck (where they have couches and chairs--some covered), so that we can listen to more of the narrated tour. Our group ventured back outside for the last 20 minutes, so we heard a little bit of it. All in all, a nice venue and meal--though kind of pricey. We did appreciate the company's tips about where to park.
Thank you for such a thoughtful review! We’re delighted that you enjoyed your sunny September afternoon with us, from the beautiful Portland skyline to the steelhead and Tillamook cheese burger. It sounds like you found a great balance between enjoying time with your friends and taking in the views from the upper deck. We’re glad our parking information was helpful as well! We appreciate your feedback about the narration and understand that listening through a phone or headphones isn’t always ideal when you’re dining and visiting with friends. We’re glad you discovered the outdoor seating areas as another way to enjoy the cruise, and we hope to welcome you back for another afternoon on the river, perhaps on one of our sightseeing-only options!
This was my first time experiencing a river cruise with lunch. I thought it was absolutely fabulous. I really enjoyed our seats by the window. However, I did feel that the lunch was more of a dinner serving, and out of the three of us, we barely ate anything. It was a bit heavy for a lunch serving with the meat being deep fried we had to pick off the fried part. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour guide’s and the captain was delightful. I would highly recommend this two or two anyone.
Thank you for the fantastic review! We’re so glad your first lunch cruise was such a fabulous experience, and that you enjoyed your window seating, the tour information, and our captain. We appreciate your feedback about the lunch portions and preparation and will share it with our culinary team. We’re also glad you would recommend the experience and hope to welcome you aboard again for another cruise on the Willamette!
Great food, wonderful staff, live music, beautiful sights. I would recommend this experience. A+++++
Thank you for the great review! We’re so happy to hear that the food, friendly staff, live music and beautiful sights exceeded your expectations. We truly appreciate the A+++++ recommendation and hope to welcome you aboard again in the future!
Very accommodating staff and tasty lunch options. Soft live piano music was nice. The drawback was there wasn’t much to see in the way of architecture or landscape. NYC and Chicago boat tours are much more interesting and offer better value. Boat itself was nothing special. Unfortunately, a little boring after first 45 min.
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the tasty lunch, accommodating service and the live piano music. We’re sorry, though, that the scenery and overall experience didn’t live up to what you were hoping for. We understand that Portland’s waterfront offers a different experience from larger cities like New York and Chicago, and we appreciate your perspective on the value and sightseeing. We’ll share your comments with our management team as we continue looking for ways to make the experience as engaging as possible for our guests. Thank you again for cruising with us!
