Stunning Views, Wildlife & Wonderful Guides!
Such an amazing experience! The whole ride took 2 hours and was super immersive, with stunning views of Red Rock all around. We even spotted some wild rabbits and Gambel's quail along the trail! Our guide was incredible and helped us take great photos. Both the horses and mules were so sweet and sure-footed. I’m 100% coming back—can’t wait to try the BBQ ride when the weather gets a bit cooler!

Book this now!
Absolutely incredible experience! The views were breathtaking, and the wranglers were wonderful from beginning to end. The ride was definitely more adventurous than I expected, but that made it even more fun and memorable! The horses and mules were amazing, and I loved getting away from the Strip and experiencing the beauty of Red Rock Canyon. Such a unique and unforgettable way to experience Las Vegas — I would absolutely do this again!

Excellent
I rode Big John and Riley was very informative as I ask questions and like being in the back of pack and had a wonderful experience with your team. The fellow riders were equally impressed and friendly. Morgan was kind helping me off big John. Loved it

Nice place, good horses.
Well organized, great communication. Super way to see a bit more of rural Vegas. Horses and mules know what they're doing, very little to do in terms of control.

Loved my morning trek on...
Loved my morning trek on my mule. The ground was uneven & rocky but Dusty was sure footed, it was fascinating watching him stop at each obstacle to consider his options/choose the safest route before placing any of his hooves. I had chosen to use their hats but couldn't find one that fit as I have a small head. Cowboy Trail Rides responded quickly to all of my questions (via contact supplier) on app. The only negative for me is that the after the supplier changed our pick up location this was not reflected on the app so I had to ask for a screenshot of new pick up point to be 100% we were in the right place - this is something Viator might want to look at in the future

A unique experience, fantastic scenery
A unique way to see the magnificent landscape outside Las Vegas. Only a short drive from the strip, but it felt like another world. The horses and mules are very placid and sure footed (thanks Dusty). The two hours went by very quickly, just the right length of time for beginners and the more experienced riders. Our guides were terrific, very friendly and accommodating. The pick up and drop off at the hotel was on time and well organised. Thank you for a great morning at beautiful Red Rock Canyon. Highly recommended.

Literally a high point of our vacation
Fantastic experience, well behaved and trained horses who know the rocky trails very well and pick the safest path.
Guides were friendly and knowledgeable and made you feel safe.
However, there was a downside for us, which was totally our fault for not looking at the pictures or reading the description fully. This ride goes up very high and along a ridge where you can see right down into a canyon... pretty scary. If you're afraid of heights this is not the experience for you. My husband lasted about 10 minutes before getting vertigo and was unable to balance on his horse and had to dismount. The guides were very understanding and Hayley walked back down the trail with him and his horse.
He was disappointed he couldn't go on and kept apologising to me for not continuing the ride with me... but honestly I'm glad he stopped because it only got higher from there and would have been dangerous for him.
I loved it though and the views are amazing. I'd recommend wearing a helmet though as its very rocky and if you did fall off you'd probably crack your skull.

Worth Every Dollar!
Well worth the money!! Being a horse person I can ride a horse anytime but the views during this ride and the terrain made it exceptional! We never walked the same path twice, the guides shared fun facts about the area and horses and hotel pick up and drop off was super convenient. Would absolutely recommend and would do it again!
