Great guide. He explained the history and a lot details. You are required to climb many steps. I recommend that you start early in the morning.
Brilliant tour with such an extensive history. It was personalised as much as possible and the tour guide had great communication beforehand as well.
Honoré was full of history and stories during our tour. He was very positive and conscientious of everyone on the tour.
A beautiful tour, far from the crowds. We spent 90% of the tour in alleyways unknown to passersby in a surprising calm. Honoré is a 5-star guide, pleasant and enjoyable. I recommend him!
Very nice and friendly guide. Walk and climb good, with many breaks in the shade (to catch your breath at 30C) and good stories about Mont Saint-Michel.
Informative and fun, great information, guide knew where to go to avoid the crowds. Just right amount of time to listen and walk around the monument.
It was a great experience, our tour guide gave us a detailed and interesting history of the Mont Saint Michel with a lot of legends and stories. I would definitely recommend this tour for anyone!
We had the pleasant experience of our trip being guided by Honore. He made our visit to Mont St. Michel unforgettable. It was informative and fun and put together thoughtfully, avoiding where possible, the crowds. His knowledge is quite amazing and he answered all questions extensively. It was a pleasure to spend time in the company of an experienced guide. Bravo Honore!
A bucket list dream come true… Our marvelous tour guide Alice of Avranches walked us up the hill and through the history and mysteries of this magnificent monument to human faith and achievement. Our weather was perfect and the views both above and below were spectacular. Although it was very busy during this holiday season tour, Mont St. Michel did not disappoint…
Mont Saint Michel is visually stunning. It was worth the drive. The hike up to the abbey was tough, especially on a very hot day. Our guide stopped along the way to give people a chance to catch their breath while he shared some of the history of the place. The abbey was not nearly as ornate as other Catholic cathedrals we have seen, but the views from the outside porch were impressive. We ate a late lunch at a restaurant on the way down. French air conditioning leaves a lot to be desired. Walked out on the sand that surrounds the mont and watched the tide begin to come in. Had to wait for 20 minutes or so in a long line to shuttle back to the parking area once we were done, and no AC in a very crowded bus. Bring your walking shoes when you visit Mont Saint Michel and plan on a shower as soon as you get back to your hotel.
