My friends and I booked a surf lesson with Fun Surf LA last night around 8 p.m. We found an available time slot in the schedule and were very excited about the lesson. Unfortunately, when we arrived today, we were told that there was no instructor available, so the lesson could not happen. We were not notified in advance, which was extremely disappointing and inconvenient. Luckily, while walking around the parking lot, we met Claudio from No Rush Surf School. Although he wasn’t available to work at that moment, he quickly called an instructor, who arrived shortly afterward and gave us a lesson. We were very grateful for their flexibility and commitment to helping us have a good experience. Description
We are a surf school based on Venice Beach. Our goal is for you to have an excellent surfing experience, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. For the first 30–40 minutes, we will be training on the beach, and then it’s one hour with the instructors in the ocean. The remaining time is yours to practice your skills and have fun with the surfboards that we provide.

Great 1st Time Surfing Experience
My son and I enjoyed our surfing lessons today. The instructor was friendly and easy to follow. Although my surfing skills were not good, my 18 year old son did great! We’d recommend. Just note that it’s more difficult than it looks.
