Had a great time, the staff was knowledgable and kind. The horses were well mannered. Nice 2 hours and saw beautiful scenery, nice trails and a couple exciting hills. Only thing that would have made it nicer, is if you could hear the leader talking in the back.
Definitely check your weights. 2 of our party refused, with one being only slightly over and no refunds. Horses were calm and easy to ride although the trail loop was rather dull. Guides were friendly, but being at the back of a line of horses you dont hear anything they say.
Wow, a truly amazing experience. A must do experience! Everyone and everything was so well organised. With beautiful well trained horses you could relax and enjoy the ride. Our guides Barratt and Bailey were fantastic, learnt so much from Bailey. The ride takes you along the stunning Bow River then upwards through the forest to wonderful mountain vistas! Absolutely fabulous!!
If you get there early you miss the crowds! Spectacular views well worth it! Especially if you climb to the very top
We visited recently and the actual ride experience was fantastic—the staff and employees were absolutely great, friendly, and very accommodating. However, the booking process needs serious improvement regarding transparency. Two out of the four people in our party were unable to ride due to weight limits, and because the company has a strict no-refund policy, we lost out on that money entirely. While I understand safety rules are necessary, these weight restrictions need to be prominently displayed during the online booking process, especially when no refunds are offered. Having it hidden in fine print or not clearly stated upfront makes it very easy to accidentally book for a group that can't fully participate. Go for the great staff and ride, but double-check the limits before you pay, because you won't get your money back if there's an issue! Does this capture everything you experienced, or would you like to adjust the tone?
It was easy to find and the horses looked well cared for. The staff were very friendly and the ride was fantastic, great scenery and knowledgeable ride leaders. Be careful of the mosquitos, loads of them - wear mossie spray! Definitely worth every penny.
This guided tour was so fun! Absolutely beautiful seeing all the different views of banff & the horses + staff were incredible. Will definitely be booking again & highly recommend if you want to see the beauty of banff & enjoy a horseback ride!
We were lucky to take the "Sundance Loop" ride for 2 hours with Kennedy. There were only 4 of us, and it was perfect because if there had been more people, I think we wouldn't have been able to hear all the stories ;-). The horses are well accustomed. The ride goes at a slow pace from A to Z. Kennedy was full of anecdotes about the area. The ride is very beautiful; we move at the pace of the horses through magnificent landscapes. Although everything was very wet and slippery when we were there, we were able to enjoy this very pleasant moment. Thank you to the team ;-) PS: remember to bring your bug spray.
A beautiful ride - such stunning scenery. The staff were lovely and horses very calm. I would throughly recommend.
Really really really fabulous 2 hours! Unbelievably perfect weather for perfect views of the mountains. Very well organized by super nice staff.
