What a fabulous adventure! Faustin is a superb guide, very calm, measured and thoughtful. He provided excellent insights into the history of the people and wildlife of Rwanda, so I recommend you book him. The driving was long and bumpy and enjoyable. Accommodation was very comfortable, and both lakes were beautiful and good to swim in. The highlight of the trip was witnessing gorillas in their natural habitat-- a wonderful experience. The chimpanzees were swift and shy and I didn't see a damned one of them, so I recommend you trail the larger primates.

We recently spent five days in Rwanda with Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. I began planning the trip six months in advance, arranging gorilla trekking, a golden monkey tour, a Kigali city tour with the genocide memorial, and several other highlights. Their communication was outstanding throughout the entire process, and once we arrived in Kigali, every detail unfolded exactly as planned. Our driver, Kevin, was consistently punctual, warm, and professional. The meals were excellent, and the accommodations were truly luxurious. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Reginal, who is genuinely one of the kindest people you’ll ever encounter. If you’re searching for a tour company in Rwanda, I can’t recommend Rwanda Eco Company and Safaris highly enough.

I contacted the company through WhatsApp and Mr. Reginal promptly replied to my inquiries. I usually contact at least three different companies and compare prices but I didn’t this time. I think it was meant to be. I booked for 6 days in Rwanda. After I booked my activities the Ebola outbreak news came out. I contacted Mr. Reginal multiple times because I was worried about the Ebola outbreak but he assured me we would be ok. Once we arrived to Kigali, Kevin our driver/guide picked us up from the airport and welcomed us to Rwanda. Words can’t describe how amazing Kevin was during our stay at Rwanda. He made us wake up so early for the game drive! It was so worth it. We saw all the animals. He spotted them from miles away. He drove us all Rwanda safely. Thank you Mr. Reginal and Kevin!

Amazing trip with our guide Tony!! From pickup at the airport to drop off back in Kigali everything was amazing!! Tony was very funny and attentive to all our needs! The gorilla trek was even better than we could have imagined. The hike was very hard, up to 10K feet. But there are easier gorilla families to visit. Highly recommend doing this if you have the budget!

Right from the beginning the communication was very good and fast, booking was very easy. Our guide Theo was absolutely fantastic – very attentive, well organized, and a calm, safe driver, which we really appreciated. Seeing the Gorillas really was a trip of a lifetime.

For primate lovers, especially gorillas, it’s a unique opportunity to see them in their natural, wild environment. It takes some determination to face the trip, which is not so close to Kigali, and also to go on a hike through the jungle. All of this adds to the thrill for those who truly know how to enjoy it. And the encounter is really intimate—you’re almost close enough to touch the gorillas.

What an amazing experience! Did 17 days visiting all Rwanda’s national parks, and doing both gorilla trekking and chimp trekking. I actually do a couple African safari trips a year (retired, it’s my hobby) but this was my first visit to Rwanda & Uganda… and I absolutely LOVED it! I worked with Reginal from Rwanda Eco Co & Safaris for over a year planning this- and he couldn’t have been more kind, helpful, and professional. Even though it’s a pretty prominent company, he made me feel like I was the only customer! He had such GREAT recommendations for things to see and do, and really understood exactly what I wanted and how to make this trip perfect! Our local guide, Jado, was great- felt like a long lost friend, he so accommodating and we enjoyed our time with him. We learned so much from him! All the places we stayed were absolutely wonderful, and the activities were perfect… and of course seeing the gorillas up close is just incredible! Rwanda is now very near & dear to my heart, and I will definitely be back again! Also going to reach out to Rwanda Eco Company & Safaris to book some of the other destinations I like to go to in Africa (like Kenya & Tanzania) as they book trips in other areas besides just Rwanda. I had an unforgettable experience with Rwanda Eco for my gorilla trek. Everything was organized perfectly from start to finish. Communication was excellent—quick, clear, and professional. They went above and beyond by helping me rent some essential gear I hadn’t brought, which made a huge difference. My guide was punctual, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly.
