We had a fantastic two days’ worth of tours with our guide Emad who was absolutely first class. We also appreciated the driving by Ammar which felt very safe after the madness (!) we had struggled to get used to in Cairo traffic. Fortunately the traffic and standard of driving in Luxor is infinitely better which was a relief. Emad was incredibly knowledgeable and was a great narrator of Egyptian history. His passion for the Pharonic period was palpable and his ability to explain what we were seeing made our experience all the more memorable. Across two days we went to Karnak, Luxor Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Artisans, Hatshupet’s temple, Valley of the Queen and Medinet Habu, the funerary temple of Rameses III. I would strongly recommend these tours and if you are fortunate enough to be allocated Emad as your guide you will have a great time. He’s very entertaining on top of his undoubted knowledge and we really enjoyed the whole package.

We went with the Luxor Egypt Tour agency and, although we were unfortunate enough to get stomach problems (my 8-year-old son and my husband), Emad and Ahmed were very attentive, offering options for adapting the tour and changing the dates several times to ensure we were well. Emad also made the tour fun for the children, as after a few hours they get tired. I would highly recommend the agency and our star guide Ahmed. Thank you so much!

From the very first day I contacted Luxor Egypt Tours for a tailor made quote, the service was excellent. Communication was prompt and professional, and the whole booking process was smooth and reassuring. Ali, who organised our trip, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout — not only while we were finalising the itinerary but also during our time in Egypt whenever we had questions. Even when we needed to make changes to the itinerary after booking, everything was handled quickly and without any hassle. The tour guides provided were fantastic. Nobi in Luxor and Amir in Cairo were both knowledgeable, friendly and made the experience truly memorable. The transport arrangements were also excellent, and our driver Ahmed in Luxor was great. On one occasion a driver was delayed, but the issue was addressed immediately and handled very professionally. We were so impressed with the service during our time in Luxor that we even booked an additional half-day tour to the Grand Egyptian Museum through them. Overall, everything you would hope for from a tour company — reliability, professionalism, great guides and excellent customer service — Luxor Egypt Tours delivered. Their prices are also very competitive. I can be quite a difficult customer to please, but I genuinely have no complaints at all. If I could give them six stars, I would. Highly recommended!

Angie was great. All arranged in advance. Pick up from hotel for two half day tours. The Valley of the Kings and Hateshput gave us a remarkable insight. The 12 year old with us was captivated by Tutenkhamun. All smooth air conditioned tranquil and continued on the second day to the temples in Karnak and Luxor. Would recommend
