Up before the dawn to watch it come amongst the most amazing mountains (oh shall add those photos!) Arriving with the dancing band greeting was enchanting, the preparation of the PachaMama ceremony, the food and the closing ceremony with the Shaman and the lamas a little walk away leaves you feeling humbled and rejuvenated to the core. I shall never forget this experience, the people their love of the land, animals and good food! Also had some weaving, dyes, wool making time... In fact so much crammed into the day trip that I lose most of it but the energy it leaves in my spirit remains. This is a unique experience that has to be done because in Qelqanqa the life is totally different and perhaps this will give you the energy YOU need too.
Qelqanqa is one of the latter authentic places. Total disconnection in the company of a community open to passing on its know-how, its customs, and is in a good mood! Thank you to Roger for allowing us to discover this haven of peace.
