It was presented at the world fair in 1889 to celebrate the centenary of the French Revolution. We owe this work of art to Gustave Eiffel. It is 1,000 feet high and weighs 10,000 tons. For a long time it was the highest monument in the world. You can visit the Eiffel Tower every day, all year round, until 11:00 at night, and till midnight during summer. It is repainted every seven years - about 60 tons of paint are required and the restoration lasts for three years. An interesting fact is that Parisians didn’t like it at all when it was built. They found it really ugly, and they were afraid the tower would collapse. Originally, the Eiffel Tower was built for 20 years but it was saved from demolition in 1906 when they put an antenna at the top.

Unforgettable private cruise

An absolutely unforgettable experience cruising through Paris on a private yacht! 🇫🇷✨ The views of the Seine and Paris landmarks were simply breathtaking, especially with the beautiful city scenery all around us. The yacht was comfortable, private, and perfect for a romantic and relaxing experience. Everything felt very special and well organized. Our Captain by the name of Jacques was very thoughtful and attentive during the ride. I like to thank Captain Jacques for his patience in waiting for us patiently and even helping us to take photos during the ride. It was such a wonderful way to see Paris from a different perspective and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended for couples looking for a memorable and romantic experience in Paris!

A special highlight of our Paris trip

We loved our private boat tour - it was a big highlight of our Paris trip. Toni gave us a warm welcome, took photos and gave us some great information about the areas and building we passed in the boat. We booked at 8pm so we could see the sunset and see the Eiffel Tower light up. If you want something special for your trip, I recommend a private Boat in Paris tour!

Would do this on every visit to Paris

A wonderful highlight of our trip to Paris. The 8pm timing was perfect for sunset, and Lionel was prepared with glasses to view the eclipse we didn’t even know was happening! Adorable additional gifts for the kids, and learning about history along the way.
