2 1/2h Guided Bicycle Tour Discover Heidelberg

We would highly recommend this experience. It was such a wonderful way to gain a greater understanding about the history of Heidelberg and, going forward, the innovative ways that it is trying to adapt to the pressures of a growing population. Being able to cycle from the suburbs along cycle paths into the Old Town and back, gave us an insight into how the locals get around. The ride was easy on comfortable bikes, with regular stops for commentary. With thanks to Felix, we came away with a greater understanding of the history of, and life in Heidelberg.

It is an unforgettable tour, I did it with my children and we had a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic way to experience Heidelberg! We absolutely loved this bike tour. It was such a fun and enjoyable way to explore different parts of the city, see areas we probably wouldn’t have discovered on our own, and learn so much along the way. Our host was amazing … incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and engaging, and really made the whole experience enjoyable. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Heidelberg and a brilliant way to see the city. Highly recommend!

This is a really nice tour of Heidelberg with a bike ride that is perfectly suitable for people who just ride bikes casually without being pro cyclists. 😉 My husband and I pretty much just ride bikes on vacation and it was just fine for us. The tour guide (I believe this name is Felix) is extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and he was very patient with all the questions from our small tour group. ☺️ The bikes are nice and well-maintained and they also have a bathroom at their headquarters/meeting point, which was helpful for me because we had already been walking around for a few hours before we started the tour. 😉 Highly recommend this tour!

What an amazing experience! Our bike tour through Heidelberg was easily a 10/10 and one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was fantastic, friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city. We rode through both historic Old Heidelberg and the more modern parts of the city, and he did an excellent job explaining the history, culture, landmarks, and how Heidelberg has changed over the years. The pace was perfect, the route was beautiful, and we felt like we were able to see and learn so much more of Heidelberg than we would have on our own. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Heidelberg! We would absolutely do it again the next time we’re in the city. 🇩🇪🚲

Excellent insight into old and new Heidelberg Felix is brilliant and times everything to perfection. The tour really gives you everything about this great city. It’s the first thing you should do. My wife has not been on a bike for 40 years and was a bit apprehensive but she loved it you learn so much. Just book its fantastic value. Thanks Felix.
