15-Day Jungle Survival Training by Amazon Explorer

I did a survival/challenge trip for 7 days and stayed 8 more days in Jersualem, Sergio's native community (my guide) The organization was impeccable, I always felt accompanied by Sergio, he was very hospitable, attentive and close, as well as Hector, a really trusted person, takes his job very seriously and professionally and it is rating that he really wants you to have the best experience possible. During the crossing, I had the possibility to see an anaconda, monkeys, macaws, toads, alligators and other animals. Also the coexistence with the native community was very nice, they received me with very warmth.

If you want to experience the Amazon and have an adventure of a lifetime this is the trip for you. It is a unique way to see the Amazon that will also challenge you. I did the 15 day challenge and Hector, Dennis, Angel, and Alberto were very helpful throughout the trip. They taught me how to survive through fishing and hunting, build shelter, make a raft, set up camp, navigate with a compass, etc. They want you to learn and make an extra effort to teach you the skills while experiencing the challenge themselves. Hector was very helpful with planning this trip and even let me customize certain aspects such as the length of time and how much food to bring. This is one of the best businesses I have come across throughout my travels.

I completed the Advanced 15 Day Jungle Survival course on my own back in November 2024. It was the most epic adventure of my life, and one of the most challenging and rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. Amazon Explorers essentially make the most realistic, extreme jungle survival situations accessible. The course was a combination of army survival techniques with indigenous skills and knowledge, all delivered by experts who were incredible. Constantly battling heat, humidity and hunger whilst fully immersed in the jungle taught me resilience, resourcefulness, determination and mental / physical strength. I walked away with a deep sense of accomplishment and a wealth of practical survival skills. This was an awesome adventure... This is the second time I have done an expedition with Amazon Explorer and it was spectacular, the efforts to always provide the best for the adventurer are evident. I really recommend this experience and this company to live a huge adventure.

I did this training with no previous experience and I really can't be happier that I did. All the equipment is excellent and they provided me with the knowledge necessary to fully perform alone in a jungle survival situation. It is not easy at all, a physical and mental challenge suitable for all those who really want to test their limits to extreme levels, but the feeling of passing this test is simply indescribable, they have to live it to know what it is. I recommend it and would do it again

We have just returned from an incredible 14 night trip in the Amazon Rain Forest with Amazon Explorer, which has easily been the highlight of an amazing trip to Peru. In the remote locations during our expedition, we saw a wide variety of wildlife, including many birds, monkeys, anaconda, caiman, and even an anteater. Thanks also to the native experts and especially to Hector who could track and find the animals deep in the jungle. The food was always plentiful, with 3 meals each day. They really went the extra mile and took care of our every need. Unforgettable trip - well worth the price!
