10 Days Incredible Turkey Package Tour

As I researched where I wanted to go with ten days in Turkey, I became overwhelmed with the logistics. I then found TravelTips.com.tr, and Tahsin designed exactly what I wanted! I didn’t want to be on a group tour – this was an individual itinerary with group tours most of the days, but my own flights, transfers, and hotels. It worked out perfectly! I spent a day in Pamukkale and one in Ephesus, with a bonus night in Kusadasi, along the beautiful Aegean. Then I went to Cappadocia, where, for a slight extra fee, I went on an iconic hot air balloon ride, followed by two days of hiking and touring the formations and artisan shops. I ended in Istanbul, where I had the standard Old City tour. I had given Tahsin a list of things I also wanted to do in Istanbul – he recommended a private guide one day and a day on my own, including a Bosphorus Tour and a Hammam. My partner and I are seasoned travellers; although we often plan our own holidays from scratch we have also been on several tours with various companies in multiples countries. However, the tour we did with Travel Tips has been one of the best tours we have been on for several reasons. Firstly, the tour was very well organised and covered all the ‘must see’ destinations in Turkey (Istanbul, Gallipoli, Troy, Pergamom, Ephasus, Pumukkale, Cappadocia). Our tour agent Tahsin was extremely helpful, from our initial inquiry right until we left Turkey. He gave us his mobile number and was contactable throughout our trip. All our transfers were arranged (including a long drive and a local flight) and the transport to all the tourist attractions was comfortable. Secondly, the tour guides we had were excellent! They were all knowledgable about the attractions we visited and had a genuine interest in history. What made this even better were the small group sizes. We never had more than 15 people in a group, but most of the time the group was either really small or we had the guide to ourselves! Last of all, the tour is good value for money. You have the choice of either two, three or four star accommodation and we were not disappointed by treating ourselves to the four star option for a small extra fee. The cost of the tour included almost all meals, entry fees into every attraction, knowledgeable tour guides, transport, as well as a hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia (which was the highlight of our trip). All we had to spend money on were drinks, gifts and tips! Needless to say, we highly recommend Travel Tips to other like-minded travellers!
