We had a wonderful time travelling through Namibia for ten unforgettable days, discovering breathtaking deserts, magnificent dunes, and an incredible variety of wildlife. Every day offered new landscapes, unique experiences, and memories that will stay with us for a lifetime.A special mention goes to our guide, Morne, whose professionalism, knowledge, enthusiasm, and constant attention to detail largely contributed to the success of our holiday. He shared fascinating insights into Namibia's nature, culture, and wildlife, always ensuring that every aspect of the journey was perfectly organized and enjoyable.Equally important was the great company of our fellow travellers. We were fortunate to share this adventure with wonderful trip companions that made every moment even more enjoyable.

We returned enthusiastic from our trip to Namibia organized with Lark Journeys. From the planning phase, we were assisted by Claire, who with great competence and experience knew how to tailor a perfect itinerary for our needs. Despite the long transfers necessary to reach all the desired stops (Kalahari Desert, Namib Desert, Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Damaraland and Etosha), the organization was impeccable and the trip went smoothly without the slightest hitch. The recommended lodges and hotels were all of an excellent standard, and the guides proved to be very well-prepared and always available. The initial briefing with our travel specialist Claire was also very valuable, as she provided us with essential practical advice and a detailed map with the route marked out to best enjoy the experience. This is a genuinely small outfit where one of the owners is the person actually planning your trip and looking after you on the ground. Self-drive the whole way, just the two of us. Claire built the itinerary around what we actually wanted instead of pushing a standard package, and her suggestion to add two nights in Damaraland turned out to be the highlight. The accommodation choices made a real difference. Every place she put us in was small, eight to twelve rooms typically, owner run or close to it. No big resorts anywhere on the route, which is exactly what we were after. Where she really stood out was the briefing. She met us at the airport on arrival and went through everything in person, the route, how much cash to carry, fuel and food stops on each leg, restaurant recommendations in town, and a stack of local tips you would not find on a forum. By the time we drove out of Windhoek we had answers to questions we did not even know to ask yet. She checked in on us through the trip and came out again on our last evening for a drink before we flew out. If you are planning Namibia and want someone who pays attention to the details, Lark is the right call.

We stayed in Namibia for 13 days in the last week of April and the first week of May 2025. We had two fantastic weeks in Namibia. The trip was well organised by Lark Journeys and the impressions we have gained will be with us for the rest of our lives. We have seen a lot of land in such a short time, especially the wildlife. Everywhere we went, we met friendly people. Claire from Lark Journeys not only superbly looked after us in the months before the trip, but was also always available for us in Namibia.

I knew that the Namibia was a wonderful country but our trip was made unforgettable by the kindness and professionalism of Claire who during the organization was able to respond to my every request and by the sympathy and expertise of Abel, our guide / driver prepared and always available. The organization was impeccable, from airport transfers to high quality lodge accommodations! Namibia still has so much to offer and I will definitely know who to rely on when I decide to return!!

Communication with Claire throughout the entire booking process was easy and quick. She answered every question I had. Everyone at Lark Journeys is welcoming, dedicated, and passionate about what they are sharing about the country to their customers. Upon arrival, everything went smoothly with comfortable and unique lodgings and a good balance of daily activities with long driving distances. Michael, the guide, was very informative and easy going; I learned a lot from him and others throughout the trip.

Claire of Lark Journeys was prompt and efficient in replying to our enquiries and customizied a 12-day tour for our grou of 26. The tour guide, Abel, was knowledgeable and did an excellent job. The driver, Rudolph, took good care of us driving long hours most days. The accommodations are of high standard. The dinner buffets were tasty with lots of food options. We started with an afternoon game drive into the Kalahari Desert, saw eland, gembok, springbok, oryx, giraffe and wild wildlife. The tour ended with drinks and snacks and a beautiful sunset desert view. We also visited the Namib Desert and the famous Dune 45 and Dead Vlei. In Swakopmund, we had a quad bike ride along the scenic coastal desert which was fun and exiting. In Damaraland, we had the chance to see the elusive desert elephants. Namibis is one of just two countries in the world (the other Mali) where the elephants have specially adapted to harsh desert environments. We had 2 nights in Etosha West and saw many zebras, giraffes, wildebeasts, springboks, lions and white rhinos. There is a waterhold next to the Okaukuejo Camp. We went to the waterhole after dark and saw 2 families of 3 each white rhinos. The male rhinos had fights right in front of us. This was a truly a memorable experience. All in all, the tour was excellent and we totally enjoyed it. Thanks to Claire, Abel and Rudolph!

We loved every bit of our Namibian experience through Lark Journeys - expertly arranged by Lark owners Claire and Greg. We were greeted in Windhoek and taken to our first night where we fed the giraffes while enjoying high tea. We flew to each one of destinations - Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Damaraland and Etosha. Each one a very different but amazing experience. All the accommodation chosen by them was outstanding as were the activities at each location. For a carefree holiday in Namibia we would highly recommend using Lark Journeys!
