As the setting sun slowly slips behind the majestic Blackall Mountain Range to the west of Mooloolaba you will be cruising comfortably through the waterways onboard the Mooloolaba Canal Cruise. Your Skipper will provide an entertaining commentary while the glass fronted waterside mansions reflect the setting sun as you discover Mooloolaba from the water. Then out to the river heads where we turn the boat around to take in the breathtaking views of the coastline from Mooloolaba Beach right up to Noosa Heads. The trip was good, though we did almost miss the start as we couldn’t find it! There’s more than one embarkation point for cruises- just saying! The only negative thing I would say is that we got to the river mouth and for some reason we hung around there for at least ten minutes. No idea why and there wasn’t anything interesting to see there. It almost seemed like we were treading water before it was time to go back! Otherwise I’d recommend this

We enjoyed the tour looking at all the lovely houses and boats, and hearing from the skipper all the stories of the development of the area and the gossip of the occupants.

Wonderful trip around the canal and river system with very entertaining commentary! It’s a total contrast to the Mooloolaba. ocean/beachside experience. There’s even a great contrast between what you see on this cruise - e.g. the mansions & yachts and then the fishing trawler fleet nearer the river estuary. A awesome pre-dinner activity with plenty of dining options when you tie up at The Wharf.
An interesting, fun and relaxing way to learn about Mooloolaba. A delightful skipper and crew. Would definitely recommend.

Our canal cruise was terrific. The captain and his staff made our trip a lot of fun. Freya our hostess made sure we always had a champagne in hand. Very reasonable price and we took the package where we had a seafood lunch on the prawn trawlers Prawn Stars
