1 Hour Snowmobile Adventure in Yellowknife

I had booked a snowmobile tour of Yellowknife, but I couldn't attend. The reason was that the tour company had changed the pick-up time the day before, but I had waited in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the meeting time, but they didn't pick me up at all. They said I should be in the hotel lobby at 10:30. After a while, when I asked him if he was in the lobby but had not yet picked me up, he told me that he had not picked up the bus at the hotel, and that he was waiting for me on the bus, but he was not told what kind of bus it was and he did not speak to the hotel lobby. So I couldn't attend, so I sent him chats about making it up, but he didn't reply and the tour was complete. Still no reply. I think it's funny that this side was there properly before the time they were told. Eventually, the make-up chat will also ask for a refund of the tour price without reply. I think this is strange.

Without my agreement, he unilaterally changes pick-up time but doesn’t notifies me. He just text me 5min before changed pick-up time. The reservation was cancelled unilaterally, ruining my travel plans.

My first time snowmobiling, and it did not disappoint! Out in the frozen lake areas we were allowed to go fast and free and that was the best part of the tour.

Very good experience. Clear instructions provided, would recommend this company. Loved our guide, really friendly and enjoys his job.

I contacted the tour company a day before to reconfirm and never heard back. So we waited in our lobby as planned, after 5 mins I contacted that tour company, no reply. I tried again several times and asked our reception to contact, while I called Viator. We waited for 1.5 hours, Then at 1pm we got an email to say they couldn't get the Snowmobiles started and could we come tomorrow. Which we couldn't as we were flying home to NZ. Am seeking a full refund from Viator.

Tenía programada mi actividad y el proveedor me cancelo 1 hora antes, él dice que me envío un mensaje un día antes pero no fué así, yo intente contactarlo varias veces y nunca me tomó la llamada. Después de eso reagendamos la actividad y me volvió a cambiar la hora por lo que no pude hacerla. Nunca canceló la actividad y hasta el momento no pude recibir un reembolso ya que la app dice que no hay reembolsos si yo cancelo, justo lo que él quería que hiciera; si tienen la oportunidad de agendar con este proveedor DESAPROVECHENLA SOLO VAN A TIRAR SU DINERO A LA BASURA. I really didn't go! I had scheduled my activity and the provider canceled me 1 hour before, he says he sent me a message a day before but it wasn't like that, I tried to contact him several times and he never took the call. After that we rescheduled the activity and it changed the time again so I couldn't do it. He never canceled the activity and so far I could not receive a refund since the app says that there are no refunds if I cancel, just what he wanted me to do; if you have the opportunity to schedule with this provider, USE IT, YOU WILL JUST THROW YOUR MONEY IN THE TRASH.

It is very cold, specially if you pick a tour after sunset. Go super prepared for the cold and the wind! Extra tip: if you have a clamp to attach your camera to the snowmobile bring it, it is really hard to hold the camera while you drive.

We absolutely loved this experience together as a family (parents + a 20- and 16-year old). The snowmobiles were simple to operate. Our guide gave us a long time using the equipment, guiding us across the large frozen lake and then on trails through the snowy woods. We loved the variety and the adventure. Would 100% recommend and will do this activity again!

Be careful!! They never came for us, my wife, my two children and I were waiting for them to come for us and they never did. I also called the company many times and only the answering machine answered. We were waiting in the hotel lobby from about 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm when our flight was leaving and no one from the tour company came.
