It is the northernmost town in Iceland (1200 inhabitants) and has been the capital of herring fishing for a long time (in fact there is a Herring museum). The marina is very lively and the neighborhood surrounding it has beautiful colorful houses.
Thank you for taking the time to review our tour - we are happy you enjoyed it. Best regards, the Sóti Team
An excellent, well-paced and informative (and witty) tour of this really interesting town. We heard lots about it’s history and the lives of some of the inhabitants from Ólöf Yrr. Definitely worth booking this tour.
Thanks for the review, we're glad you had a great time on the trip!
