Incredible and unforgettable experience in the jungle among the Orangutans
Fantastic experience, superb organization, from the welcome as soon as we arrived, to the transfers to and from the airport, up to the trekking itself in the jungle. They are one of the few if not the only 100% local tour operator and they care a lot and this is reflected in the professionalism and extreme
Care with which they interact with tourists and with which they organize everything.
The trek was incredible, we saw several orangutans, males, females, and little ones! Without any rush, with many descriptions and plenty of time to not only observe but almost connect with the orangutans and the environment in which they live. Countless encounters with other smaller monkeys, including the very unique Thomas's langurs of Sumatra. Delicious lunch and a snack based on very sweet and varied fruit. Everything always very well taken care of for the best possible experience. The rafting to return to Bukit at the end was obviously very fun.
A thank you to our guide Nurdin and his assistant Abel, super prepared, helpful, friendly, and very dedicated to us! They made the experience unforgettable!

Super, really great! Definitely do it!
The whole day was incredibly great. We were informed in detail in advance about what we needed to bring and what to expect. Erwin and August, our two guides, accompanied us excellently the entire day: gave us all relevant information, prepared great food (it was super delicious and so beautifully presented!!!).
We saw five orangutans and another hornbill while tubing... it was an unforgettably beautiful day:)!!!

Everything was great!
It was great!
Perfectly organized. Small group. Very competent and attentive guides. They explained everything to us about the flora and fauna. Food was excellent and plentiful.
The guides are well-connected, so we saw 5 orangutans, countless monkeys, a peacock, and hornbills.

Great time trekking
Had a great time trekking with Sumatra orangutan treks! Saw plenty of orangutan’s and other wildlife, we had Reza and Tamrin as guides and they were brilliant. Very helpful, knowledgeable and polite.
The trek itself is very good, very manageable and scenic, would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking!

Unforgettable day in the jungle
We really recommend this agency for lawang bukit treck. Excellent organization , we had two great experienced guides Ahmed and Raja , they were kind and put us at ease. We felt safe and secure. We had the chance to meet some orangutans as well as other monkeys. Magical moments in an exceptional setting. We did a day of trekking and a return by the river , a fresh and welcome bath after this walk , and the very fun return to the buoys! It was an extraordinary day. Thanks to Ahmed and raja for guiding us.

Nice experience
We were with amet and pray! The excursion was great, they were super fun, they took care of us at all times and tried very hard to see orangutans!
It's so worth it and we saw a lot of animals, they gave us a lot of food and it was super fun the boats!🚣♂️

Jungle-trekking
We had a wonderful stay at the villa, and the eco-friendly trip was amazing!
Everything went smoothly, from the airport pickup to the trekking, and we saw a lot of monkeys,orangutans and other animals. Everything was arranged very professionally.
The entire staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Special thanks to our guides, Bangbang and Choco! Highly recommend staying here and going on the jungle trekking experience.

Amazing experience!
We did the Sumatra Orangutan 1-Day Trekking Tour and it was an amazing experience! Our guides Wahyu and Zanet were fantastic – very friendly, knowledgeable, and great at spotting wildlife in the jungle.
During the trek we were lucky enough to see one male and one female orangutan, which was incredible to witness in their natural habitat. We also saw Thomas leaf monkeys and a few other animals along the way.
It was definitely very hot, but still totally doable with some breaks and plenty of water. The food and fresh fruits during the trek were also great.
At the end we could relax for a bit in the river, and then enjoy water tubing back to Bukit Lawang, which was a fun way to finish the day.
Highly recommended!

Perfect trip 🩷
