Had a great tour of Quito with Jose. He is knowledgeable and patient and I learned a lot about the history of Quito and Ecuador. We saw everything on the itinerary.

I’ve been to Ecuador so many times, but never visited the city on Quito. Jose was a welcoming, kind & informative guide and was a pleasure to spend the day with. We covered a lot and it was a great day! Length was just right after 18 hours of travelling the day prior. Would definitely recommend especially if you are only in Quito a short time!

Jorge was a fantastic tour guide. The history and information really helped to add context to what we were seeing. I felt like we saw a lot in a short time and we really experienced the elevation!

We had an excellent experience touring Quito with our guide, Jose Boada. Jose was extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and friendly throughout the entire day. He did a wonderful job explaining the history, culture, and significance of the various attractions we visited, which made the tour both informative and enjoyable. One thing that really stood out was Jose’s excellent English. Communication was easy, and he was able to answer our questions clearly and thoroughly. Jose genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience and went above and beyond to make our day in Quito memorable. His professionalism and knowledge truly made a difference. Very friendly, knowledgeable and relaxed guide who took two people on a tour as advertised around Quito. The all day trip is ideal for people who want to visit the old town and two main attractions in Quito (the trolley ride and the 0 degree latitude monument). All admission fees were included. Great experience, but was on the pricy side for this particular trip (early September).

What an incredible way to spend a day in Quito. I had a 36 hour stop over on my way to the Galápagos Islands and decided I’d go and see the city instead of being bored at the hotel, and what a great decision this turned out to be. My guide (José) was in touch at all times keep me updated on collection times and meeting points and making sure I brought the right clothing etc. he was superb from start to finish and you could not hope to spend a day with a better guide. He had the perfect balance of knowledge and humour, kept the tour moving at whatever pace the three of us in the group set, there was no rush, no push, a perfect babble. His friendly and charming g manner and not to mention his “secret” parking space that saved us a fair few steps. 🤣🤣 The tour itself was excellent with cable cars, llamas, volcanoes , chocolate and smiles everywhere. It was one of the best day tours of a city that I have ever done, Quito is a gem of a city with so much to offer, this is a perfect taster for anyone on an any sort of time constraints. Everything was a highlight, all so different. If you have any doubts, just book it and go, the walks aren’t to taxing and there’s plenty to see and do. I went mid September and even at 4000m it was pleasant in shorts and a long sleeved wicking top. Put simply, one heck of an amazing day.

This tour was amazing. My partner and I had expected a group but it ended up just being us and the guide Jorge. We did a pretty good walking tour of the historic part of the city where we viewed multiple churches and we did a chocolate tour as well before moving onto the middle of the world and the cable car tour. Ps: this review is a week later so it's not fresh in my mind anymore so forgive me if I miss some of the activities we did. The cable car ended in a swing over the side of a volcano which was great. All admission fees were included which is why we booked so a plus there. The atmosphere was great but believe them when they say to dress warm. Wear layers so you and add and subtract as you need. Overall, we were very pleased with the tour and would book it again. Jorge's English was great and he gave us lots of information and answered all our questions. 10/10. A lunch hour was included but we weren't hungry so we just used that time to head back to the hotel but I'm sure your guide is happy to suggest some great spots for lunch.

Jose our guide was exceptional. He was extremely knowledgeable and made our trip extremely interesting. We had some great conversations and he tailored our trip perfectly to our needs. Nothing was too much effort for him. Do ask for Jose if you book this trip. He is fantastic.
