We had a wonderful tour with David, who is a delightful tour guide with a deep pride in, and knowledge of, his city and country. Highly recommended!

David was really friendly and told me lots about the history of Quito and was a gentleman. We managed to go up on the cable car to see the city from above, walked round the beautiful old town and had fun at the middle of the world museum. I would recommend this trip as a way to see the main sights in Quito.

If you’re looking for a comprehensive tour of Quito in one day, I can highly recommend this one. Our guide David was extremely knowledgeable and took us on a wonderful walking tour of the old city, then a ride on the cable car to view the entire city. Make sure you ride the highest swings on the planet! Finally, our tour to the equator at Itinan was incredible. Straddle the equator and truly see how water flows differently between the northern and southern hemispheres.

We had a fabulous day visiting all the main sights of Quito with David, an amazing guide from Ecuadorian Tour Guide. The pace was relaxed, adjusted to our interests, and as two female travelers we felt very safe. David was very knowledgeable, with over 20 year’s experience as a tour guide, and rightly proud of his country and the beautiful city of Quito. Highly recommend!

David was awesome. He arrived right on time and was very informative and engaging. He took us to a local restaurant for some very tasty empanadas for lunch! He also gave us recommendations for things to do around our hotel.

He had respondes to all my questions regarding the city, its history, and the culture! Thanks to him, this tour was an unforgettable experience during my time in Ecuador. I also appreciated that he is bilingual - I was able to have the whole tour in Spanish, but for the few words that I didn’t understand, he could explain it perfectly in English.

David made the tour feel like a private, personalized experience — it was just me and my spouse, and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful throughout the day. He picked us up right at our hotel and took us to every single stop, sharing lots of interesting facts and stories about Quito along the way. He was so friendly and made sure we felt comfortable the whole day. The best part was when we asked if we could visit the La Mariscal Artisan Market even though it wasn’t part of the plan. David didn’t hesitate, he just took us there and even gave us tips on how to explore the city on our own afterward. Highly recommend this tour if you want a personal touch and a guide who genuinely cares about making your day memorable.
