Eko, our driver, was wonderful. He was punctual, spoke good English and was a safe driver. He constantly kept in touch with us via Whatsapp. He picked us up on time, took care of the entry tickets, walked us into the temple and introduced us to the guide, Mr. Jono, who then gave us a tour of the prambanan temple. Mr. Jono was very knowledgeable and gave a very detailed explanation about the culture and history of the Prambanan and Sewu temples. After this, Eko picked us up and drove us to see the ramayana ballet. The VIP seats were worth it as they were quite comfortable and were right in the front row. After the show, Eko was waiting for us right outside and hence was easy to find. We had a wonderful experience.

A very beautiful, well-organized experience; our guide and driver Eko was perfect, he speaks very good English and has a lot of knowledge about religions and Indonesia. Regarding the Prambanan temple, if you have the choice, avoid the weekend because there are a large number of visitors. We were taken care of by an English-speaking guide in the temple. Eko then drove us to a restaurant that adjoins the show site. We enjoyed an excellent buffet. Eko led us to our seats for the show: the VIP seats are perfect, with the illuminated Prambanan temple as the backdrop for the show. To finish, we really appreciated this lively show, impressive for the actors' gestures, their masks, and their costumes.

We spent a wonderfull day with our guide Fajar. The day's activities where well arranged, there was clear communication and ample time to make sure the day went smoothly. Fajar is punctual, he is a good driver, communicator and an interesting conversation partner. We spent two days with him and would recommend the borobodursunrise tour operator and specifically their guide Fajar. Specifically on this tour: We were picked up at our hotel and driven by Fajar to the Prambanan temple where a private guide was waiting for us, after a guided tour, which included a summary of the story told in the Ramayana ballet. We were given free time to visit the other three temples and choose where to enjoy the sunset. The colors on the Sewu temple during golden hour were beautiful! Afterwards Fajar drove us to a restaurant with view on the main hindu temple right next to the ballet stage. While we were enjoying dinner, Fajar arranged our tickets. Such a luxuory. We enjoyed the ballet with a drink in great seats. The most valuable thing about this tour is the relaxing, and stress-free arrangement. Till next time, maybe, Fajar?

Hendra was a great careful driver, made sure I was in the right place and right time and always friendly and informative. Sanu, the guide at Prambanan was also really good and really well prepared with a torch for inside the temples and took lots of photos of me. I have great photos of the sunset over the temples and the ballet was great too, the setting really adds to the story. Front row (D) was great but row A had slightly better view of temples. VIP definitely worth it. Buffet meal a bit average but I didn’t book for the food

This experience was wonderful, thanks to our guide as well as our kind and helpful driver Eko, who also suggested a lovely restaurant before heading to the Ramayana ballet show. The show was the cherry on top of an amazing sunrise tour.

An absolute highlight of our trip to Yogyakarta! Everything from hotel pickup to the final scene of the ballet was seamlessly organized. Our driver, Hanif, was friendly, safe, and incredibly knowledgeable about history. While our private guide, Pak Jono, brings the history of the magnificent Prambanan Temple alive with great storytelling as we walked through the ancient stone carvings in the late afternoon.The dinner at Rama Shinta resto before the show was delicious and relaxing. Getting the VIP seat for the Ramayana Ballet Show was 100% worth it—having comfortable seating with a direct view of the stage and the illuminated temple backdrop made the performance feel truly magical. The dance, music, and colorful costumes were breathtaking. Highly recommend this smooth, all-inclusive private tour! Worth the price!

I booked this tour so I wouldn't have to worry about the hassle of getting tickets or how to get back and forth to the Plan Banyan, and I was able to enjoy both the Plan Banyan ruins and the Ramayana performance, and it was a very good tour. Although I didn't specifically mention it, because I am Japanese, they arranged for a guide at Plambangan Temple who speaks Japanese, and although there were times when communication was difficult with my poor English, Bhimo talked with me about various things, and I was able to have a very enjoyable time on a trip where I was also lonely by myself.

This tour gives a busy but extremely fulfilling day, hitting most of the major cultural sites in the Yogyakarta reason. The Sultan's Palace and Water Palace are both gorgeous, and the ancient ruins of Prambanan are a true wonder being restored in modern times. The versiom of the tour with dinner and the Ramayana ballet is also great. The buffet dinner was tasty and the overlook of Prambanan as you eat is unreal! Finally, you get to enjoy a unique and very interesting traditional performance art, with some particularly crazy fire effects. This was my second tour with the Borobodur Sunrise company, after doing the titular Borobodur tour a few days prior, and this was also very well-organized. My driver Rafli was always eager to help with any issues and kept to a full but not rushed schedule, getting me where I needed to be ahead of time. Many thanks!
