Stefano was a wonderfully informative tour guide!!! I came to Sintra knowing nothing of its history, just wanting to see some castles, and I left this tour feeling like an expert! Not only did we learn about the mysteries and wonder of Quinta da Regaleira, but we also learned about the complex history of this beautiful city. He even gave us pockets of time to take some great photos. I would 1000% recommend Stefano to anyone and everyone!

A guided tour of Quinta da Regaleira is an absolute must. Our guide brought the estate's mysteries to life, decoding esoteric symbols from the Gothic palace to the lush gardens. The Initiation Well—a 27-meter spiral staircase descending nine tiers—was breathtaking. Walking down in near silence, hearing tales of alchemy and Freemasonry, felt surreal. Emerging through underground tunnels to a hidden waterfall was like stepping into a fantasy novel. The guide’s deep knowledge and passion transformed a beautiful site into an immersive journey, while cleverly avoiding crowds for perfect photo moments. This isn't just sightseeing—it's a magical, intellectual adventure. Highly recommended for any Sintra visitor.

The Quinta de Regaleira has surprised me enormously, it has been much more than I expected. The experience has been fantastic and recommendable, partly due to the guide we were lucky enough to have with us, Luis Meneses. Thank you, Luis, for making our visit unforgettable.
Good experience to understand La Regaleira..Stefano explained everything to us from the beginning to enjoy the Quinta. He was very kind, good explanations. Maybe I missed it being more directed toward children to make it more entertaining for them. It is a good experience, above all surprising.

Luis was our tour guide he picked us up promptly and drove us to Sintra. He was knowledgeable of Portuguese history and was able to answer all of our questions about the castles. The castles are beautiful and definitely worth the walk. Just be prepared for a lot of walking. Luis is funny, very helpful and all-around great tour guide. He’s easy to talk to and when you leave you have gained another friend!
