Our Guide Sebastian was great. And Pedro from Viator was very accommodating in finding a guide who would pick us up at our rental house in Cascais not Lisbon. Sebastian was prompt, courteous and is a local who knew the area well. On our way up to Sintra he gave us a rundown on the history and guided us through the tour Pena palace tour. He insisted we do the wall walk and it was worth it! Highly recommend this tour if your needs are a little different than a standard tour.

Pedro was fantastic. His communication skills and empathy completely captivated us. We thoroughly enjoyed the historical anecdotes, local legends, and references to the region’s cultural heritage and literature, all shared with the enthusiasm of someone who truly loves his homeland and wants every visitor to appreciate its richness. Today, we not only discovered a very special place, but also met an exceptional person.

I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is coming to Lisbon and wants to get the most out of their time. Our tour guide Katherine gave us the option of taking it easy and going to just one castle or going to both palaces. We decided to go to Sintra and take visit some locations on the way. Katherine perfectly curated our tour which met our needs to have a relaxing yet fulfilling day. It started with a visit to cascas for coffee and amazing pastry. Then we went to devils mouth and the western most point of Europe. We stopped by Sentra beach and had the freshest fish. We drove up to Sentra and Katherine was very knowledgeable about the castle and she gave us so much history. We had pastries at pirikita cafe before heading back down. During the drive she gave us history. We were really grateful and highly recommend this one in a lifetime trip.

Our guides Pedro and Katherine were amazing. Very knowledgeable, super friendly, and great drivers. We felt very cared for. They also gave great restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us for lunch to allow us to stay on schedule.

We had an outstanding experience with Pedro M. during our two days together exploring Sintra, Cascais, and our transfer to Porto with scenic stops along the way. From start to finish, Pedro was professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. His knowledge of Portuguese history, culture, architecture, and local traditions was exceptional. He answered every question we had thoughtfully and shared fascinating stories that really brought each place to life. We learned so much throughout the trip. What we appreciated most was his flexibility. In Sintra, he walked with us through the palaces and expertly guided us while giving us just the right amount of information. In Cascais, Óbidos, Nazaré, and our other stops, he was happy to let us explore on our own while offering wonderful recommendations and making sure we got the most out of every destination. We never felt rushed, and the itinerary always felt personalized to our interests. Pedro’s warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for Portugal made these two days some of the highlights of our trip. If you’re looking for a guide who is knowledgeable, personable, flexible, and truly invested in creating a memorable experience, we cannot recommend Pedro highly enough. Pedro was early to arrive, a great driver and friendly tour guide. He is young in his career but a local from Sintra who had plenty of knowledge about the area and the two main places we visited -- Pena Palace and Quinta da Regailera. We also visited the Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the European continent and skipped Cascais since we had already stayed there earlier in our trip. He was fun to talk to and took nice photos they weren't our typical selfies. At the end he dropped us off to a sports bar for a World Cup game we wanted to catch. Highly recommend!
