We had a wonderful experience on the Shanghai Private Tour to Zhujiajiao Water Town and Boat Ride. Our tour guide, Snow, was fantastic and really made the day special. Snow was friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to spend the day with. She gave us plenty of interesting information about Zhujiajiao and its history while keeping the tour relaxed and enjoyable. We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to explore, take photos, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The boat ride through the water town was one of the highlights. Seeing the old buildings, bridges, and canals from the water was a great way to experience Zhujiajiao. Having a private guide made the entire experience much more enjoyable, and Snow took excellent care of us throughout the day. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and especially recommend asking for Snow as your guide!

We had such a lovely time exploring Zhujiajiao with Lin. It’s a beautiful and charming place, and Lin made the experience even more enjoyable with her interesting commentary and insights along the way. She was incredibly patient and kind, always making sure we had enough breaks between the longer walks. She knew the area really well and made everything feel easy, smooth and comfortable. The journey to and from our hotel was also really straightforward and punctual. Lin met us right at the hotel and, despite the hour-long journey, the time flew by as she shared lots of interesting insights about Shanghai. We really enjoyed chatting with her throughout the day. Thank you Lin, for such a lovely experience!

All superlatives for Kalvin! On time, on point and open for questions at any time. Kalvin was sincere, proud, pleasant and very well informed. He was very cordial and accommodating. My "go to" is always: would I go with him again and would I recommend him......and the answer is YES, without a doubt!

After our original tour with another company canceled on us we weren’t sure what to do in our only day in Shanghai. At the last minute we booked a private tour of Shanghai to the Watertown village about an hour from downtown. Our guide Kalvin was FANTASTIC! our driver Wong was courteous and a safe driver. Request Kalvin if possible, he’s native Shanghai born and has been a guide here for over 20 years. He’s knowledgeable information and enthusiasm was electric! He knew the answers to all of my crazy questions and is passionate about the history both new and ancient of China. The price was reasonable and was probably the best money spent on our vacation so far! We spent 3 hours at Watertown, a community that has existed largely unchanged for 1700 years! Hotel pickup, vistit to a temple, boat ride, gardens, shopping & lunch all included. Alana (manager) is great communicator! Did I mention that we booked this the same morning that our 10am tour started?!!! A+ Fantastic!!

This was a fabulous experience. Communication beforehand was perfect, we were picked up at our hotel so it was super easy. The water town was such a special experience like stepping back in time. It was so peaceful. The best part of the trip was Lin our guide, She was very knowledgeable and so easy to talk to. She made it a very pleasurable experience. I would not hesitate to recommend her or this tour to Water Town.

We had the best time with Snow! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and informative, and her English was excellent. She made our time in Shanghai really enjoyable and took us to a fantastic local restaurant for a delicious meal, which was a real highlight.
