It took a bit for the company to get back to confirm pickup time, but they assured me they would be at the pier for 8:30am transfer to the Airport. My pick up point was Seattle Cruise Port Pier 66. When we arrived at the curb 8:25am we noticed there were a great many taxis. . All drivers were eager to give us a ride wherever we needed to go. Our Driver was not there due to heavy traffic 10 minutes,15 minutes,20 minutes & still no driver.. A 25 minute late arrival is somewhat unacceptable. if you live in the city, and this is your profession, and you know there is heavy traffic then you leave earlier so you can pick your ride up on time. We did arrive at the airport in enough time so we weren’t rushing to our gate, but it was nerve-racking. All that being said, at least the driver.was pleasant and apologetic for his tidiness. If you’re going to book with this Tour Company just beware I’m not sure that time is of the essence with them.
Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify what happened that morning. Our driver was actually at the port before your scheduled pickup time. Unfortunately, there was confusion regarding the pickup time provided to us, and the driver was already there waiting. However, at Pier 66, security does not allow vehicles to remain parked and waiting at the curb for an extended period of time. Because of this, our driver had to leave and circle back. Pier 66 is one of the most difficult cruise terminals in Seattle for on-time pickups because there is very limited space to wait, heavy traffic, and security restrictions. Once our driver had to circle around, traffic became extremely congested and it took longer than expected to return to the pickup area. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and understand how stressful it was to wait for your transportation. We are glad you arrived at the airport in time for your flight. We also appreciate your kind words about our driver being pleasant and apologetic. We take your feedback seriously and will continue working to improve our communication and pickup procedures at Pier 66.
