まずは有名なコパカバーナビーチで、冷えたココナッツウォーターを飲みながら、黄金の砂浜と活気あるビーチフロントの雰囲気を楽しみながらリフレッシュしましょう。
そこからは、リオの黄金時代の象徴であり、王族やセレブリティ、ミュージシャンをももてなしてきた文化的ランドマークである、世界的に有名なコパカバーナ宮殿を眺めます。
次に、ボサノヴァが生まれたまさにその地に足を踏み入れ、近隣のボヘミアンな過去と音楽の遺産を探索します。
その後、1888年に奴隷制度を廃止する「黄金法」に署名したブラジルの王女への賛辞であるイサベル王女の像を訪れます。リオの美しさとブラジルの複雑な過去をつなぐ歴史的なランドマークです。
最後に、コパカバーナの終わりにある、より静かで地元の砂の広がるレメビーチを散策します。ここではリズムが遅くなり、フォルテ・ド・レメとその周辺の丘陵の景色を眺めることができます。

We took our tour with Francesca and she was so lovely and knowledgeable about many elements regarding the culture and history of Rio de Janiero - including, obviously, the best places for food! Jesse was a wonderful tourguide. We loved every tasting in this tour and tried dishes we would never have tried on our own. We actually revisited a couple of the restaurants later in the week. Jesse also gave us some fantastic recommendations for the rest of our stay. All in all, a highly recommended tour.

Had a great time! Was running late and the guide was very communicative over Whatsapp to ensure I found the group. They managed to mix in some history and smaller stops (coconut water, sugar cane juice) along with the bigger stops. All of the food was great, nice mix of stops. Mariana is a very dynamic person and a great guide. It's a lot of food. It would be better if you were with one other person so you can split things and try everything, otherwise you will be stuffed! One thing to note is that it's pretty meat heavy (it is Brazilian food!) so this will be tougher for vegetarians.

This turned out to be a private food tour with Yuri. It was a fantastic introduction to Rio. The tour was in the Copacabana area, which was right near the hotel where we were staying in Leme. Yuri was extremely personable and very knowledgeable. He grew up in Brazil and in the United States and his knowledge of both areas was especially helpful. There was a wealth of food served in three hours. Our tour happened to be on a Sunday noon so navigating the area was easy and restaurants were not crowded. We recommend adding the drink package and coming hungry. We enjoyed all the foods we sampled!
