Incredible tour! Amadeo was so knowledgeable- it was amazing. Our train tickets were booked from Rome, the meeting place was very easy to find and the day went of seamlessly. Thank you for such a great day!
Our guide was excellent. She was an archeologist who worked there and was very passionate about her city. I would suggest, however, not going in August. There is very little shade and it was extremely HOT!
This was a great way to get to get to Pompeii from Rome. The train experience was easy, and the directions from the operator were very easy and clear. The driver and then guide at Pompeii were excellent. Giovanni was a fantastic guide!
Great experience. Transport guide, Luigi was very attentive. Subject guide is an archeologist on the Pompeii excavation team. He really covered a multi perspective regarding geographic implications, lifestyle of inhabitants and technical side of the archeologic excavation. The rough terrain and hot temperatures made for very challenging physical effort, but it was worth the effort.
Well worth the tour guide. So much information that you would not read in a book. Highly recommend it
A walk throughout historic Pompeii. So much history. Our guide was excellent! Lots of information without being boring
The contractor Viator used left us at Naples Train station. Our train was delayed 30 mins. and the meet up left after 10 mins. We had to purchase our own train fair to and from Pompeii. I have not been credited my cost. I had already paid for transportation to and from Pompeii.
Perfectly done with all of the logistics! My son (11) absolutely loved Pompeii - the train and the shuttle to/from Pompeii was really easy. Really glad we did it
