My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. We were with Brian and it was just the 3 of us so we were able to gallop across the beach. It was my boyfriend’s first time riding and was a great experience for both of us. Would definitely recommend:)

We booked this just the day before, the company was really good to contact and communicate with. We had a driver pick us up and drop us back at our hotel, included in the price so that was nice. The ride was great, only three people and we all had riding experience so it was really up to us the speed we wanted to go. We had a good canter along the beach, our guide took a couple pictures, it was a nice mix of beach and trail/ road. The horses had good energy and a really nice walk/ trot gait. They were also really responsive to direction/ speed and easy to ride. My little mare was super sweet, I wanted to take her home! She seemed a little skinny but I feel that is normal for hot countries, not like our fat horses in Canada with thick winter coats. They did have some hay but no water when we got back so hopefully they were going back to their barn/field soon after our ride cause it was really hot, I feel like a bucket of water for them wouldn’t be hard to provide. Overall it was a good experience.

Horseback riding on the beach was magical. The horses were so well trained and easy to ride, taking direction easily. We were a group of four at all levels of experience. We saw howler monkeys, a sting ray in the water and several iguanas. Highly recommend and can’t way to come back!

Our guide was awesome, but her horse was young and wanted to run the whole time, which was hard on her and us. We trotted/ran almost the whole ride, which was tiring & difficult. Would have liked to have walked more and enjoyed the scenery. My stirrups were too long, so I had a hard time keeping my right foot in the stirrups while going so fast. I had to concentrate on holding on the whole time and I am an experienced rider. She tried to adjust them by knotting them but that knot hurt my ankle. Would suggest some trotting/running, but would walk the horses most of the way. I will say, though, with a better lead horse, our guide would have been able to give us a great experience. One of us dropped our phone and she went back to get it, which was awesome.

Great ride on the beach and into the hills. Guide was great, horses extremely well trained. Maria didn’t make us walk slowly in a line, but let us enjoy the horses a little. Or if you’ve never ridden, you’ll feel totally comfortable. Highly recommended.

It was the perfect length with a combination of time in the beach and in the forest. Scenery was unbelievable! Maria, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved her!

Great activity! Pick-up and drop-off to/from our hotel was smooth, horses were great, guides were awesome!

Ride along the beach was absolutely gorgeous. The horses are mellow and calm. If you're looking for a relaxed couple of hours in the beauty of the beach this is for you. Make sure to bring a good hat and sunscreen. The ride started at Brasilito Beach and went down to Puerto Viejo. There was a short section under tree cover where we saw some monkeys before turning back.

The beach was beautiful. Saw some sleeping monkeys. The guide was very good. The horses were wonderful. Would highly recommend this.

Maria, our guide was wonderful! It was so assuring she loves her horses, they only do one ride a day. As an animal lover it was great to hear she cares for them so much. Had an amazing ride, very beautiful scenery.
