Ellie our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable about Harry Potter and York. We all learnt a lot! Thankyou
Took my Harry Potter mad daughter and we both had a really good time. The links between Harry Potter and York are tenuous at best but the tour did a good job of linking the two. It’s perhaps best described as a history tour of York with a few Harry Potter quizzes but that’s not a bad thing. We learnt a lot and had fun, what more could you ask for
We had a brilliant time on the Harry Potter tour. Ellie was amazing and so knowledgeable. I like how the tour links Harry Potter and the history of York. The quiz and being sorted in to houses was fun. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Ellie was our amazing guide for this really fun and informative tour! We were only a small group but we had lots of fun. Plenty interesting facts to learn about the Harry Potter films and an interactive quiz along the way after being sorted into our houses. We also learnt some interesting historical facts about York while we toured this beautiful city. It was great value for money and the perfect length of time. Thank you Ellie for making this so interesting and fun! We would highly recommend this tour to families or singles….fans of Harry Potter!
This was a last minute booking and we had such a great time. Ellie was outstanding. She kept our group entertained and brought good energy to the tour. I was only expecting to learn about Harry Potter facts, but she sprinkled in a lot of history about York too. Breaking up in different teams (houses) and answering trivia questions adding a lot of fun to the tour. My kids (ages 8 and 10) and my husband and I had a great time exploring the city as a small group. We had a couple and a younger man among us and that was a fun balance. We saw many different sites, including walking along the wall for a little. Someone complained that it wasn't about filming locations. I think this was a super cool city for seeing the inspiration for the the film and would definitely recommend it to others, HP fans and just visitors wanting to learn more about the area's history.
Very informative regarding York. Nice details regarding HP, but don't expect film sets ect, there are just ideas in York for Rowling
It was okay, but not amazing. Some useful information about York, but with little real connection to Harry Potter.

This was one of our top most enjoyable activities of our 2 week euro trip! Molly was our guide and she was the absolute best!
George is a wonderful lovely guy. Very informative with the history and the story of Harry Potter. By the way George, Dobby is real it says it on Wikipedia ;-)
