This was very informative! Lots of walking, but totally worth it! Our guide, WILM?, Was very knowledgeable about the history and culture! It was a neat bonus that he had personal stories to share about his personal scientific digs, and as they related to the Roman ruins part of the tour. All of it was really neat, but we especially appreciated that he had historical stories and anecdotes for each place we visited.
Excellent city tour with a very competent and friendly guide who shared many new details with us. Clear recommendation for Wim 🙂.

Unfortunately we did not get the tour we have booked. The guide was not there because he thougt it was cancelled. We did not cancel. Now we are hoping to get our money back.

Jos had a sense of humor and brought the history of Maastricht and Europe into perspective as he safely walked us through the streets, mill, and garden and regaled us with stories of be-headings, struggles of the poor, losses from wars and human strife. A wonderful touch from a local and life-long resident who cares.
