Great tour, 35 degrees outside, 11 degrees in the tunnels
Very nice tour with Daan as guide. He told fun facts and drew us with his good comments through the caves. Definitely a recommendation when visiting Slavante in Maastricht.
It was a really cool experience! Worth it if you are in Maastricht. The guide Gilbert was also great! Great guy.
Today we were at this location, the tour was in German, and tour guide Jo led us safely and informatively through the caves, and above all, successfully found the way back out. The tour was humorous, and you could also ask questions. With a constant temperature of 10°, you should dress accordingly. In the grottos you can also find some wall paintings; it is pitch black, but Jo naturally brought a little light, and he also illuminated particularly beautiful works of art with a flashlight. Despite the poor lighting conditions, we were able to take some nice photos.
The kids found it super interesting and also a bit scary in the dark. Especially the younger child who was in the group.
Great tour with a knowledgable guide on kick scooters. Very nice and fun time, also very great to end at the terrace with a cold beverage etc.
Few days ago we enjoyed this tour which you have to book online in advance. Unfortunate the restaurant was closed because of shortage of staff. And we were too early for the tour but we could change the tour via whatsapp our tickets for an earlier tour. The tour started by the restaurant and we walke few minutes to the entrance with the guid and group. The guide Cindy was a very nice person en cheerful. She told so many nice and interesting stories. It is quite cold in the cave and after thirty minutes it really gets cold. A light jacket in the summer can be nice inside. And the caves are high which gave me no claustrophobic feeling. Was really a great tour and 100procent worth the money. Shout out to Cindy who was a great guide and very friendly. We felt really save with her as a guide.
We had a very enthusiastic guide who told us a lot of new things, I thought her name was Cindy, highly recommended!
It was a fantastic tour! I've done it before and it's highly recommended. The gentleman who gave the tour, did it for 2 years now and could tell very well and fine! It was very interesting again. Thank you very much! He also gave the tip to walk up, where you can see that the ENCI has excavated a very large part of the caves for marl. Also very impressive to look at. What is very unfortunate is that you can no longer take the boat to the cave. I have such beautiful memories of that and was super fun to combine with each other.
Today we had a guided tour on step with guide Cindy It was a very nice and interesting tour she gave It is highly recommended to do this when you visit Maastricht
