It was my second time watching Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap at London’s St. Martin’s Theatre, the first time being more than 10 years ago, but it was still thoroughly enjoyable. While I already knew who the murderer was, I was able to focus more on the acting and see if I could spot the subtle clues that each character portrayed. Being a great Christie fan, I must say this is indeed in her hallmark style of red herrings. Loved it! ❤️
The play is cult. Even for people who are not perfect at English. The theatre very old and with a lot of charm. One point deduction for the very tight seats and zero legroom.
I loved it but I do love Agatha. It was booked last minute and so pleased we did it. The cast were brilliant 👏 👌
Went back to see the play after many years ,really enjoyed the play ,if I have a complaint it’s about the seats they were so uncomfortable and should be upgraded and I wasn’t the only one to find it bad so many people were fidgeting around the man in front even resorted to leaning forward throughout the second half .
We loved seeing this show — it was entertaining and the perfect length for our first night in London. However, be advised that the seats are very tight!
Superb suspense with great actors. We really enjoyed this show. So much fun, we may go again.
Really a wonderful way to spend the evening. Had a drink up in the bar before the play, got good last minute seats, and loved the actors and staff. KUDOS, we highly recommend it.
Extremely poor value for money. If you are in any way afraid of heights, (which I'm not BTW, but some around me were), then please do not get a ticket for the Upper Circle. It is impossible (unless you are in the very front row) to get to the loo without asking the whole row to make their way to an aisle! We paid £65 each for our tickets, and the seats were the smallest I can remember in any West End theatre.
Took my son to see this, having seen it some years ago but have forgotten the plot. It was at St Martin's theatre, firstly, I paid for the second most expensive seats, but my goodness, at 5 ft, in the dress circle front row, my knees were against the balustrade. The seats were so uncomfortable it was rather torturous. The acting felt forced, like they are just going through the motion, and the story line was .... a bit unbelievable. Overall, go see it if you need some entertainment, but it felt a little flat.
One of the 3 theatre shows I have seen that I really enjoyed and have seen more than once, loved everything about it and would continue going despite the knowing the ending
