Was an enjoyable experience, plenty of snorkel time even with family taking care of an infant. Had good food also which included a veggie burger, much appreciated given that part of my family is vegetarian only. Plenty of space on the boat despite nearly 100 people on it. 2 bathrooms was nice also

This was our 2nd trip with your organization! We did the Lanai Snorkel on a previous visit. The two for one fares are great. The boat ( voyager ) is good, little noisy in the cabin area. Crew is upbeat, friendly, caring attentive including the captain. Food is pretty good. If you are able to get up and around while the boat is traveling I am sure you can learn a lot from the crew, some of whom are marine biologists. Or any time the boat is anchored. The Snorkeling at Molokini Crater was good! My wife especially had a good variety of sealife closer to the crater edge, just be careful there though! The person giving the information talk underway via the sound system was mostly unintelligible in the cabin area, they spoke a bit fast with a slight accent, and the engine sounds combined to make it unfortunately a missed opportunity. Later a young man came into the cabin with some dolphin skulls on the return trip, which would have been interesting, but he showed them to a few people at the front and while I tried to get his attention to come our way, he seemed to notice but turned around and left instead? Another missed opportunity. I wasn’t feeling great so couldn’t go after him. As the Pacific Whale Foundations mission is to educate people, that didn’t happen much on this trip for us. Since you have a great knowledgeable crew that have a lot to share, if they go around and engage more or use the PA system when people can hear, that would really add value to passengers and further your goals too!

The trip was excellent - two snorkel spots with lots to see. We swam with sea turtles at the second one and saw a lot of wildlife. The naturalists on the boat were so engaged with the kids (who had lots of questions!). I noted in my reservation that I was gluten free and they had separate safe food options for me, which was a nice surprise! Would definitely do this trip again!

Great tour. The captain was friendly and kept us very safe. The food offerings were tasty, the service was welcoming, and it was a great amount of time.

PacWhale Eco Adventures was the BEST choice for our snorkel excursion. They kept participant safety as the focus while assuring we had plenty of fun and access to in-water adventures.

The snorkel to Molokini crater was lovely. The staff was helpful and informative. We were expecting the crater to be crowded but it really wasn’t very crowded at all. I would highly recommend this tour.

I highly recommend Pacific Whale for any of their excursions. They are top notch. We’ve been to Maui twice and were highly impressed with them the first time, that there was no question we would be using them again this time when we took the kids. The snorkeling at Molokini and another turtle spot on the West Side was at the top of my list. The Naturalist were knowledge and made for an education experience and Capt T made it exciting and lively. It’s a must do on your trip to Maui and I wouldn’t trust anyone more than PacWhale for it.

Great experience - kids loved it. Snorkeling was awesome and boat staff was excellent. Food service was delicious and easy to Navigate. Would definitely do it again!

Great time out on the water. The molokini area had a nice variety of fish and the water was crystal clear. A little crowded in the water given the size of the boat, but people spread out eventually. Turtle Town was really good too, we saw a nice big turtle lounging in the cleaning station. Food at lunch was surprisingly good and unlike a lot of tours they left time to actually eat without losing time in the water.

10/10 — Highly recommend! PacWhale Evo-Adventure was one of the highlights of our Maui trip! The crew was warm, welcoming, incredibly knowledgeable, and amazing with kids. Our 4-year-old was initially scared to snorkel, but the staff patiently helped him overcome his fear — by the end, he was happily snorkeling! The reef tour was fantastic, with the crew identifying marine life and sharing fascinating insights. The catamaran was comfortable and smooth, with plenty of snorkeling equipment and decent food/drink options. A professional photographer was also onboard and captured amazing family and snorkeling photos for an additional fee — absolutely worth it!
