This is an absolute must, we had such a great time eating the best authentic food. Thank you Lee for creating and unforgettable experience you were the best!

Li was an excellent tour guide. He took the time to talk to us and getting to know each of us personally. It was three hours of pure fun, exploration and cultural experience for my family. The most impressive thing is Li got my my daughter who is typically a picky eater to open up and try out the various cuisine including delicacy such as grasshopper! We had a memorable night and we will carry this memory for a long time. We can’t wait to visit your hometown. Thank you Li!!!

It was just my family and I with a tour guide and always a little awkward without others. The restaurants selected were diverse and excellent. Lots of choice and generous amounts everywhere and beer and baiju as well. The walking helped process all the food and we ended with Szechuan a few minutes late (..that was me) because we had some brilliant street food "snack". Places were small, curated and good value for what we received. And given the area and the familiarity with it, this group is well recommended.

Tour was fantastic! Hope was a great tour guide. It was very easy to communicate with the staff during the visit. It felt like a friends’ night out.

We were disappointed with the tour. Living already in Asia, it was not suitable for us. Not much was explained during the tour apart the first stop which some quick explanations. We were expecting to learn more about the food and also by extension about Shanghai. But also expected more street food vibe. You are seated in restaurants each time. Which is not an issue per se, but again Shanghai offers so many amazing street food that can be overwhelming for visitors to know where to look. Having a guide to show and share about street food would have been great - which I believe is more the vibe of the breakfast one. We should have looked into more details when booking. But considering little guide sharing, the price is too high as Shanghai offers really cheap food.

Yanny was amazing and so was the food! 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone — solo travelers, couples or friends — looking to eat authentic Chinese food

Had a lovely tour with Yanny. Went to 6 different restaurants with different cuisines and Yanna gave a lot of extra information about China and the regions the dishes are from. Would recommend this for everyone who is traveling to Shanghai for the first time.

Great experience with lots of different, tasty and interesting food. Li was amazing tour guide, making it fun and interactive. He had lots of knowledge about the good we were eating. Would definitely recommend and would do another food tour with UnTour.

A great way to explore Chinese cuisine. We loved the trip through different regions and flavours. My partner was well accommodated with vegetarian food. Janne was a great guide and we appreciated her insight and tips for the rest of our trip.

What a fantastic tour through Shanghai and China’s food scene! I learned so much and tried some foods I’d never have dared on my own but the tour also suited the less adventurous eater in our family. Janne was exceptional ambassador and guide. Come hungry and pace yourself because there is so much to try!
