Alex was sooo knowledgeable and passionate about everything WW2. A lovely mix of sitting and gentle walking, hearing stories and seeing sites.

Wow! Kate was an incredible tour guide. I wish she could be my guide all over the world. I travel frequently and take many tours, and she is by far the best guide I have ever had. She was professional, exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, respectful, and attentive throughout the entire experience. Kate continuously shared fascinating information and insights, making every moment engaging. Even when people asked WWII questions that were only loosely related to Normandy, she provided detailed and thoughtful answers with impressive expertise. Her tour was carefully planned to minimize traffic and avoid crowds, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Her English was excellent, clear, fluent, and easy to understand. She also speaks several languages, which reflects her remarkable background and knowledge. With a grandfather who served in World War II, she brought a personal connection to the history that added depth and meaning to her explanations. If you are considering a Normandy tour, I cannot recommend Kate highly enough. I booked Gold Beach Company through Viator. She truly made the experience unforgettable.

Our guide Matthew brought the day to life for us. His love of history, and his interest and knowledge of WWII in particular, shone through as he shared stories and information throughout the day. His knowledge level was impressive and he answered all of the group’s questions. This small group tour format was perfect and well worth the price.

Mathieu was an amazing guide/host…highly knowledgeable, approachable and thoughtful. My wife and I were fortunate to be booked alone with Mathieu for a full day Juno Beach experience…it was an amazing and moving day for a couple of knowledge-thirsty Canadians. Mathieu started with a high-level explanation of the D-Day operation and then drilled-down to the Canadian activities at Juno Beach and beyond. Mathieu will anticipate and then fully answer your questions. I cannot imagine there being a better guide to gain a full understanding of the importance of the Canadian contribution and the price paid for that success.

Hi Phillipe D: I have a question I hope you can answer. I want to book a one day Canadian tour to Normandy. I want to take a train from Paris to Bayeau for the tour. What time does the tour start? one piece of information states the tour starts at 8:30 am, which the train would NOT get me there on time. The next information states the tour starts at 9:30am. Which is correct? Please reply. Teresa Webster
