Our guide, Laurine, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and humorous. She was also an excellent driver. The tour of Mont St Michel was very informative and interesting. We were very happy with everything.

The guide was excellent, friendly and a great way of imparting knowledge. The place itself is spectacular!

This experience could have been so much better had the guide realized who he was dealing with. We were not in our 30's or 40's. Two of the group were in their 50's, two were 65 and two were 78. Yet Johan flew through the walking part like he had a hot date waiting for him. Example; we had just entered the walled city, walking up an inclined walkway when our guide stopped, looked at a hole in the wall to his left and started up a crevice in the wall. I say crevice because it was about 18 inches wide. Some of us had to turn sideways and go up the steps sideways with our chests and backs brushing the walls some 20 steps and then scramble another 30 steps till he stopped to share some photos. Other than driving us to and from Mont St. Michel without any introduction or review, Johan spent all of 90 minutes with us. He gave us the tickets needed to climb to the abbey and left. We met back at the bus station and walked back to our van. Then we raced back to Bayeux at break-neck speed, he got out, shook our hands, pleased to meet you and that was it.

We did the all-day tour of Mont Saint Michel with Jean of Overlord Tours. He was an excellent guide, explained everything very well, and answered our questions thoroughly. A wonder way to spend the day!!

We had a beautiful sunny day at an unbelievable abbey, Mont St Michel. Our tour guide, Laurine, was so enjoyable and informative during the drive and the visit at the Abbey. She had great historical stories of the people who lived there in the past and took her time showing us interesting areas of the Abbey. Highly recommend this tour.

On Sept 2 we took the Mont St. Michael tour with Viator. Our guide was Elise. She was very personable and so well informed about the history of the cathedral and the various rooms we went through. She was also well versed in the surrounding area and the history of the people who were involved with the building and use of the Cathedral over the years. She was an excellent and safe driver on the trip to and from as well. We enjoyed the day very much and thank Elise for such a memorable day.

Lucy was a great guide - very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic throughout the tour. We hit all the great sites and had plenty of time at each stop.
