COPPER HANDICRAFT WORKSHOP (サラエボのお土産を自分で作ろう)

This was a great experience! So much fun! This is the first time I've done an experience like this while traveling and now I'm wondering why it has taken me so long. Highly recommend!

We had an excellent time at the copper workshop. The short tour with Mak before was informative, and the workshop with Suleymen was fantastic. The workshop has limited spots, which was nice when we were in the workshop and learning from Suleymen. The workshop gave us a deeper appreciation for the difficulty of copper working, and we greatly appreciated Suleymen’s help with finishing our pieces. Suleymen and his brother were friendly, funny, and informative as we spent several hours in his workshop. Would highly recommend this excursion to anyone taking a trip to Sarajevo!

Mr Besim is a great guide, he shows everything and he gets a lots of feedback. He is very friendly. The programme was fantastic!

The workshop was very nice for me and my son (8 years)! You learn how hard manual work is. We were able to make beautiful souvenirs with a little help. The two brothers are a very good and likeable team. An absolute must-do if you are in Sarajevo, also because you come into contact with locals.

Charming and fun…really wanted us to make a nice bracelet and enjoy ourselves…his shop was in a nice community- lots of indolent cats! This was a very pleasant experience and we love and still wear our bracelets! I highly recommend…

My husband and I both had a blast! We first enjoyed a short tour and were told how art played a large roll in rejuvenation of the city after the war. Then we headed to the studio to create our own artwork. The instructor was amazing, we laughed, learned and left with a souvenir of our own creation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This experience really showcases the skill required to make any object out of a flat piece of tin. Our guide was patient and kind. My husband did all the hard work and I watched in appreciation.

This was such a quirky and fun experience for us and the guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. Our guide, Mak, was really personable and great to talk to. He had a great knowledge of the city, country, and of the artwork therein and we got a lot out of our time on this tour, and of the full day to Mostar tour the following day. What stands these tours apart from others, we thought, is that the guides speak to you as friends and are very open and generous with their time. I really think that says a lot about how the company is run and the type of people that work there and I cannot recommend them more.

i spend a great time with Sulej (the teacher) he showed me different technics of coppersmith and at the end i created my own personnal ring. He's extremely friendly and a good teacher.
