This tour exceeded my expectations! Our guide Samir was phenomenal. He had so much to tell us and did it in such a compassionate way. The tour took on extra meaning as our guide had lived through the war and was able to share personal experiences with us. We learned so much and were impressed by Samir’s resilient attitude. His pride and love for his city was apparent. I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Unfortunately this is the first tour I’ve booked through trip advisor that I am giving a poor review. Our guide gave us the history of the horrific war of the area, which was what we expected, however he threw in his own opinions, gave incorrect information due to his beliefs, gave his opinions on politics and religion and it was unfortunately too much. Several others on our tour felt the same as they expressed it to us while out walking. I assure you, while doing a tour of history it is best to stick with the facts of that history and not politicize or make reference to other religions other than yours in a derogatory manner while you have them held captive in a vehicle. This was a lot to listen to for over four hours. I cannot recommend this tour.

This is a very moving tour but essential to do to really appreciate the horrors of the Balkan war. Evin was a great guide with so much information and talked us through everything with impartiality and clarity. It was very interesting to see the Tunnel and sniper alley as they were things you normally just see on TV.

We definitely enjoyed the tour. The guide was excellent. We learned a lot about the unfortunate events that happened in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hearing the experience from a Bosnian perspective was greatly appreciated.

The tour was well constructed, and for a change did exactly what the itinerary had outlined. The guide was exceptional! He was knowledgeable, but above all passionate about his subject. An excellent tour.

What a way to learn about the modern war that blighted your country. I found the tour so informative, honest, explained with private experiences and delivered with passion but also given with hope for the future. Our guide “Arna” (?) encouraged questions and knew the answers. Our bus driver was excellent and they both went out of their way to make the tour fit around the Commemoration Police parade which caused some traffic issues. Both represented ‘Meet Bosnia’ so professionally presented the history of this tour so well and with hope and positivity. Highly recommend!!

Every first-time visitor to Sarajevo should take this tour to have an in-depth understanding of the terrible period of the 1992-1996 Siege of Sarajevo. The tour puts the events of the Siege in context and gives an appreciation of how the city has recovered and thrived. Our guide, Ago, was excellent: very well informed, articulate and approachable.
