Great tour! Andy made the night. He told us stories of ghostly events in Brisbane, close to the actual scene. Andy really bought the stories to life and painted the scenes gloriously. The expression on some of the passers-by, at times, was hysterical. In the walk between sites, we shared stories from our own countries. It was a true meeting of weirdos but such fun! Thanks Andy!!

Highly recommend this tour! Our guide was Sam and she was amazing - extremely knowledgeable and she had some much information about all the spooky sites in Brisbane CBD. I dont know how she remembers everything! We were entertained and learnt some great and very interesting stories. 10/10

Though it was a pleasant stroll around Brisbane in the evening, and luckily no rain, the experience was not quite what we expected. Though there were some historical facts noted the ghost aspect was missing from the narrative. Also disappointed we were not able to enter any of the fabled buildings. Your guide was knowledgeable about his subject matter but we felt the tour was misnamed. Perhaps a historical tour may have been a more apt title.
My name is Jack Sim; I am the owner of Historic Australia. On this tour there are ten ghost stories discussed, which explore who the ghosts are, how they died and why they haunt those places presented in an entertaining manner by our guide. You’ve said so yourself the guide was knowledgeable. I am at a loss at how you say we have not delivered a ghost tour. Our website clearly states this is a historical storytelling experience about Brisbane’s haunted history and we do not enter any buildings as they are private or government owned. You’ll find that walking tours around the world that explore the city centre, like ours, do not enter any buildings. Other customers appreciate the level of research that goes into delivering a haunted history tour. Perhaps one of our other tours in a cemetery or haunted place would be better suited for you. 2 of us went, we were very disappointed, we thought we were going into the buildings n didnt the guy that did it was boring n wasnt presented all that well n since there was 8 in the group he didnt checked to see everyone was together crossing the road an half the group got left behind he didnt speak to us at all he was more intetested in the 4 that was with him, we ended up by walking off torwards the end
Hello April It is always disappointing when a tour does not meet expectations. You have raised a number of issues which we take seriously - we will give feedback to our guide who usually is given high reviews for his presence and storytelling. Our guide training includes making sure to not start stories before all guests are present. We try hard though to not "herd" people. Our guides wait patiently for group members to catch up before starting to tell stories, which Andrew did. He did not start storytelling without you but your concern that he could have walked a bit slower and that you would have liked to talk to him more, we will pass on to him. Walking through the CBD of Brisbane can difficult especially on busy nights with traffic and pedestrians. Andrew is usually diligent about this, as he is with his appearance. The HAUNTED BRISBANE CBD GHOST TOUR does not include going into buildings. We do not promise this in our tour inclusions. We are unable to access private property after hours for security reasons. It is desribed as "a guided walk of the CBD. Hear ghost stories including the Haunted Hotel, Devil’s Trade & Spectre of Captain Logan." Other ghost tours, in other places may vary from ours and offer access. It is not really fair to judge us on that. Variety does not mean one is "better" than another, just different. It would be difficult to deliver sharing old ghost stories of Brisbane, walk to each spot with a group, and go into and out of buildings in the time we have. Sometimes in the past we have been able to go into the Brisbane Arcade however we do not promise this and this is a bonus when we can. This tour is a storytelling experience. Tours like the two Toowong Cemetery Ghost Tours and the South Brisbane Cemetery Ghost Tours, Ormiston House After Dark and other cemetery tours are of those places and we are walking inside those locations. The CBD walking tours in Brisbane and Ipswich are storytelling experiences. Tour guide was lovely and informative. You could tell she was interested in the information and enjoyed her job. Would've been nice to be able to enter the locations or have our own experience with the spirits but was still a good time.
