We had an excellent experience. Our tour guide Andrew was super friendly and informative and we were welcomed warmly by every staff member. Safety was paramount and the experience itself was amazing especially seeing Brisbane from this viewpoint. Would highly recommend.
What an absolutely cracking morning climbing the Story Bridge yesterday to watch the Globemaster C-17 Riverfire rehearsal! I’ve lived around Brisbane for 23 years, but standing on top of the Story Bridge with those views was something pretty special. Add a massive C-17 flying over the city and directly overhead, you’ve got yourself one hell of a Brisbane experience! A huge shout-out to Lynda, who was our guide. She was brilliant — friendly, confident, knowledgeable and had a great way of making everyone feel comfortable. You could tell she was enjoying it as much as we were. All the other staff were fantastic too — professional, friendly, organised and clearly knew what they were doing. It made the whole experience feel safe without taking away from the fun. And the weather absolutely turned it on. Beautiful Brisbane spring day, blue skies, spectacular views and a C-17 Globemaster doing its thing for Riverfire. Sometimes you think you know your own backyard, but seeing Brisbane from up there certainly gives you a different perspective.

Amazing experience. 10/10. I enjoyed the bridge climb and informative talk from guide Kirsten. I then had to go back for a second climb to complete the swing. Absolutely thrilling.
Wife and i did the twilight climb yesterday, it was great!! We rigged up and were comprehensively briefed buy Lynda and her crew then we headed off for the climb. Linda was our guide. We were a small group and Lynda really looked after us. At every stage Lynda was explaining the safety aspects and the next part of the climb. My wife and another were a little anxious at the start, but Lynda was very reassuring and guided us at the group pace. Lynda did the photography at several ventage spots and when at the top Lynda did a 360degree explanation of the Brisbane sites and history, she was very knowledgeable. All in all, a terrific experience that I'd highly recommend!

The climb was lovely, the staff were brilliant, our guide was very informative, safety was very important. The climb was only on a small part of the bridge, this was disappointing as the climb was actually quite short, maybe 40 mins - advertised as 1.5 hours. Our guide gave us plenty time to enjoy the views, took lots of pictures and give us some interesting information. I understand the climb used to be the full bridge. I think it would be important to ensure customers are aware that the climb is only about a quarter of the bridge and to charge accordingly.

We completely understand your disappointment if the experience was different from what you were expecting, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify the route. Prior to 2025, Story Bridge Adventure Climb operated from the south side of the bridge. This was approximately a two-hour experience, which included getting ready, the climb itself and returning to base. Climbers travelled from the southern side to the middle of the Story Bridge before returning along the same route. In 2025, we relocated to the north side of the bridge and introduced an entirely new 90-minute experience. As there is currently no climb line connecting the two sides through the middle of the bridge, it has never been possible to climb the Story Bridge from one end all the way to the other. That said, completing a full end-to-end Story Bridge climb is something we would absolutely love to offer in the future, and we hope one day we can make that experience a reality. Thank you again for climbing with us and for your constructive feedback. This was soooo much fun and very exciting! We went August 15 at 10am. The employees were amazing, helpful and funny! The other participants were also amazing! We were visiting from the USA and this was a highlight of our vacation!!
