Matthew our guide did a fabulous job taking us through the streets of Bologna, introducing us to the authentic shops. His knowledge was excellent describing the city and particularly the small food shops along the way. Would highly recommend this tour and Matthew.
This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The guides for the factories and family-run balsamic farm were nothing short of phenomenal. Everyone was so kind and knowledgeable. The balsamic tasting and “breakfast of champions” was wonderful. The lunch was an unbelievable multi-course marathon meal with several different wines, and a fun musical number to finish. Whether you’re staying in Balogna or not, I cannot recommend this tour enough.
Amazing amazing tour. It’s an early morning and a long day (that didn’t feel long at all) , but totally worth it - highly recommend. The Parmigiano-Reggiano factory was great and the Balsamic tour was so interesting. The food all day was amazing - you will not leave hungry. Overall, this team knows how to have fun and educate you at the same time. The energy throughout the day was fantastic. And “lunch” will not disappoint — delicious and so much fun !! ** for Gluten Free diets they also did an amazing job accommodating.
Awesome experience! The parmigiana reggiano factory, balsamic vinegar vineyard, and prosciutto factory were very cool and interesting. The staff were great and we enjoyed a huge meal full of wine and great food. 10/10
We had the best day with Elena and Roberta as our tour guide and driver. The day was extremely informative about the 3 places we visited! An incredible experience to go into the factories and see first hand the production of prosciutto, Parmesan and balsamic vinegar. The breakfast and lunch were amazing, along with the wine and entertainment by the staff! If you visit bologna this is the best tour!! Highly recommend!
We had a great time and learned so much about the amazing food of this region. Julia, our guide, was very knowledgeable and energetic.
What a simply fantastic tour from start to finish. The day was one pleasant surprise after another. The 3 factory tours were amazing and the quality and quantity of the breakfast and lunch food and wines couldn’t be beaten. Roberta, was not only our driver and Julia not only our tour guide but they assisted with serving food, wine and our lunch entertainment. They ,and in fact everyone associated with the day, were so welcoming and friendly. A wonderful and fun tour, one that we are so pleased to have taken. Thank you Julia, Roberta and all the people associated with Italian Days for making this tour one that will not be forgotten
The tours were informative and fantastic - come hungry and worth the early morning because the breakfast at stop #2 (balsamic) was an amazing value breads, cheese, espresso, frittata, wine, etc. The truffle balsamic is amazing and the aged balsamic will forever change your palate. The lunch at the end of the tour - 6 course pasta lunch, we were absolutely stuffed and the pasta just kept coming. There was no shortage of wine as well. You can tell the team really enjoys their job and loves what they do. I will recommend this to anyone going to Bologna. Dress wise - you can wear sandals - just know you will have booties covering your shoes at cheese factory. Note that cheese/meat factory floors are kinda wet so keep in mind the type of shoe you wear. We went in Sept and were fine without layers - the cold part of the factories were not that cold and the meat fridge is very brief.

The BEST tour. Worth the money. Amazing tours followed by several hours of incredible food and drink-and the staff are some of the best Italy has to offer. They set the standard for the DOP of hosts 💗
