Zhara was extraordinary. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of food samples and the specialties of local artisans before having a sumptuous lunch. Also, we travelled by foot much of the historic center and felt quite oriented to our surroundings by the end. Zhara’s comprehensive knowledge of the history of Avignon and its role in the history of France were informative and well presented. The entire experience was incredible indeed, and a wonderful introduction to our days in Provence. Splendid!

Zahra is an excellent guide. She is very knowledgeable and made it fun and interesting to hear the history of the beautiful sights of Avignon. The food and wine we had on the tour was delicious. It was also interesting to see the different products made locally in Avignon. Zahra suggested best angles for taking photos of the beautiful sights. The tour was very well paced ending with a delicious lunch. I would definitely recommend any of Zahra's tours.

Zhara was amazing. She has boundless knowledge, common sense, compassion and joy for what she does. Our time flew by.

Cannot recommend this tour enough! Great fun, food and company. Zara is a joy who combined history with the art of living. And did I mention food? We chose the 3 hour tour which passed so quickly we were sorry we didn’t book the 5 hour tour. A brilliant introduction to Avignon. Don’t miss it!

Absolutely brilliant. We loved it. Zahra is an exceptional guide. Her historical knowledge is incredible; she knows the history of France, the history of Avignon, etc., perfectly. She delighted us with wonderful tastings. And we loved the stop at the soap artisan's. Everything handmade. Incredible. Even the packaging is done on-site. She shared her passion for craftsmanship with us. Work well done. Art in general but also for French gastronomy. And especially Provençal cuisine. She gave us plenty of recipes that we can remake at home. And especially. She tells us where we can buy because it is reasonable and showed us all the tourist trap shops to avoid in Avignon that charge ridiculous prices. We walked through charming narrow streets. And learned so much about the food. The history and about the wines too. Magnificent tour. Comprehensive. Entire. I recommend it 10000 percent.

We enjoyed this walking tour, which introduced us to typical local cuisine and several interesting food-related shops in old city. We felt that the commentary was not as detailed or relevant as we have experienced on other tours, and the visit to the soap store was an odd inclusion. The tour was good, but not outstanding.

We had a wonderful food tour with Zahra. Lovely experiencing tasting Provence specialities plus learning some historical information on Avignon. I would definitely recommend booking this tour as Zahra is a wonderful guide and loves to show Avignon to guests.

This was a wonderful tour and Zahra our expert guide was amazing!! I highly recommend this activity while in Avignon! She was a warm, accommodating hostess and we learned about the rich history of the city while enjoying wonderful foods and wine!
