If you're going on this tour just to see some of the most beautiful places in Provence, then take this tour. The places we went were stunning and I would do it again in a heartbeat just to see them. The amount of time given to wander in the towns was pretty perfect. I didn't feel rushed. They are small towns and you really don't need a lot of time. However, the tour guide. Oy. I'm sure she is a very nice person and she knows her stuff but we were frustrated all day. Although she is fluent in English, she spoke so fast we understood only about 20% of what she said, probably not even that much. We spoke with every other person on the tour and only two understood a bit more (50%). The others, nothing at all. The speaker in the van went in and out, it buzzed the entire day, it was difficult to understand answers to questions. Not one time did she wait on everyone in the group (and it was extremely small - eight of us) to tell about what we could do in a particular town. None of us were sure of the time to return anywhere. It was weird - she just seemed completely self-absorbed, unaware that she had a group with her, just rattling on and on without making sure we could hear or understand. Her driving also was a bit wild. I don't think dangerous but uncomfortable. She tailgated people, including bicyclists, and turned corners so fast that I was nearly thrown across the van. I truly hate to hurt someone's feelings but there is another slightly more expensive tour that is precisely the same one. We met the guide and think she's probably a more seasoned and sensitive guide. Book with her.

This tour is the perfect way to explore Provence! I did the tour in 2018 with my family and loved it so much that I had to book again for my trip with my partner. The guides are incredibly knowledgeable about the area and its history; you can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend if you are in Avignon!

We had 1 full day in Provence to enjoy the region and although we have a hire car we opted to do this bus tour. We weren’t sure what to expect but it exceeded all our expectations. What is great about this tour is that it covered a lot of ground and had easy drop off and pick up at all the places which is why we opted for it rather than driving around sometimes tiny streets and trying to find parks everywhere. Note that this is a long day so be aware you will be exhausted at the end of it. Tired but smiling. The guide Natalie was so knowledgeable and generous with her time and energy. She even spoke to one person on our English tour in French as that was their first language. Eric our driver was a real hoot. We saw some beautiful villages in Provence with the magnificent Pont du Gard at the end of the tour. It was a very hot day so I appreciated the tour handing out bottles of cold water. I would highly recommend this trip and remember it as one of my best days in this trip to France. Merci beaucoup.

Loved the small group tour.. just 8 people. We all got on wonderfully and left as friends! Great guide, beautiful weather and enjoyed the itinerary very much!

Beautiful scenery! Guide provided good information during the ride. The issue was when stopping at towns often times we were told there’s 13th 14 to 15 century architecture and then we were left wonder just didn’t give us any historical perspective of what we were seeing. I missed the story that someone walking with us could provide. The Pont du Gard was wonderful. She would describing history and walked with us. It was probably one of the best parts of the trip. It was a good trip and I would not read it as the best that it could be.

Great to see the high lights of Provence in one day. Our guide was brilliant. Very knowledgeable and a fab driver.

Our tour guide was excellent. She provided us with many details; interesting facts and history of the areas we visited. The small group was perfect for us. We enjoyed the time we had to explore the small villages and the Pont du Gard on our own. They were each very scenic and very different.

long day but very interesting. Guide was knowledgable but not too careful of her group. The vehicle door was closed by guide on a guest's fingers, causing damage and pain. Also three people in front seat felt very crowded.
